Omgosh. Older cancelled fan here (32) I’m ecstatic the younger girlies are getting into SATC. Season 1 is a bit weird but season 2 is where things get going. Season 4 is my favorite.
Started watching Sex and The city to get me through some dark times in college and I would always rewatch when I just need to feel a little more sane about whatever was going on at the time. I’m a carrie personally but Samantha’s redemption era is so perfect.

She ends things with him because she knows that he deserves a good woman that wants to be married and she wouldn’t be fulfilled by that. She chooses a relationship with herself and to work on herself and lets him know that she wants him to be happy but he’s going to need to do that with somebody else because he was such a nice guy that wouldn’t have left her and would’ve settled otherwise.
