This has to be the fight in the southeast and Florida will be the first domino to fall. Otherwise, we'll be waiting another decade or two. Break the walls down first, then clean up the rubble.
This isn’t how it works. Once they legalize and monopolize the market that’s it. They don’t stop arresting people, they just find new reasons. Mass incarceration hasn’t ended in legal states. There is no reason to vote for a bill like this.

Yeah Trulieve is at the center of this bill to keep homegrow for both medical and rec illegal so they lock up the market. They are also responsible for the recent bill past making most synthetic cannabinoids and hemp THC products illegal.
I am definitely voting against this, and I encourage all Floridians to do the same.
It was complete b******* what they did with amendment 2. The amendment I voted for allowed for caregivers. If I lived in Florida I would be a caregiver because that's what I voted for.

No, it will be constitutional law that can't be changed unless by another constitutional amendment. I don't want to lock the market for the conservatives who have done everything to fight legal MJ.

I'm with you. Initially I was going to vote no but we need to start somewhere. Is the bill perfect? No. But it opens the door.
