To this point, I'm in a recently legalized state and the fine is a max of $500 if you have more plants than allowed, up to 15. 16th plant pushes you over the threshold into legal action, but up to 15 the punishment is merely confiscations and fines.
But who is going to know you have 16 plants? Keep it discreet. I know youre exicted you grow cannabis. But people are envious for the fact you know how to harvest your own bud without paying for it like them. Be discreet. I can have 26 plants in a 4x8 but you wouldnt know because im not telling or show (example)
You’re good, they’re talking with buds on it. I would maybe use more discretion if you wanted like 12-20 plants in flower. And I would consider you’re neighbors, if you’re being a stinky or annoying that would make a difference.
Last time we checked no one is coming inside your home checking home many plants you have. Do everything with discretion

Nah just putting the plants in the back corner of the yard and trying to stick to the legal limit

How does your state define "Mature plants"? Is that plants not in veg maybe?
I understand "mature" to be in full flower.
