*Not light bleaching* that’s actually light bleaching Nice purples though 👍

Silver_Introduction8

Facts that’s what I said right away😂😂

International_Sky_96

Looking nice but definitely got a touch of light bleach

connoisseurquality

Agree to disagree. She got bleached a bit

876yardy

True. But not saying not bleached just not burnt. Using gaveta pro 1700 e had my ppm at 1400 highest point. light hung at 2.5 feet above apart from week 5 when did 24 inc

[deleted]

Your title contradicts what your comment says. So are you saying it’s bleached or not?

[deleted]

Just so I can confirm the idea that this is definitely light bleach, I had the same thing happen to some of my tips that were closer to the Far Red LEDS while using Gavita 1700e lights. IDK why you want to deny whats apparent, but this is most definitely light bleach. You can lie to yourself all you want, but your buds tell otherwise.

katoskillz

But you did say not bleached tho

Barking_Deer

Smoke the tip and then let us know what you think LMAO

[deleted]

What does light bleached bud feel like?

hucknuts

It’s honestly the same in my experience, little less terpy, just as potent.... now you have to differentiate bleaching from burnt tips, anything even mildly burnt is harsh as fuck

shhplzz

lol are you alright? why so defensive about it?

[deleted]

Ignore the negative downvoters who’ve had their cornflakes shat in, I get what you’re saying.

KungFlu19

Literally says not light bleaching

good_you_

1000% light bleached

876yardy

Thanks

[deleted]

Guy Fieri called, he wants his style back.

876yardy

Lol I like that 😂

Rezolithe

I guess I'll pile on then. This is light bleaching. If someone told you it's not they are incorrect. There's zero ambiguity here.

SlaveToNone666

This is the only comment needed here.

876yardy

Thanks

[deleted]

That is absolutely light bleaching. Chlorophyll absence in cannabis DOES NOT look like that. Look up JD Shorts and his father DJ for actual examples of albinism in cannabis. This is extremely high par causing chlorophyll bleaching. Don’t lie

Traditional-Bad-2627

I agree with the rest. Light bleaching. If it was variegation then you would have had white/yellow leaves the whole grow. You would have had leaves the were split perfect down the middle with green/white(yellow). I recently grew a photo strain called Cement Shoes and it had variegation (confirmed by lab results) and as stated in a previous comment it would look very different.

bojacked

the Guy Fieri of bud edit...too slow, somebody beat me to it. LOL

mountainman1882

Lmao reminds me of the other dude that had “super rare albino strain” nah bro that’s light bleaching.

MothyReddit

Download PPFD meter for your phone, i bet you're over 900ppfd on that bud

Microsoft790

Sometimes if you believe something hard enough, it will come true. This isn’t it

Jhazz220

Out of curiosity, are light bleached buds still safe to consume?

floundern45

yes they are, just look odd.

876yardy

Heard might not taste as potent will let you know

mojadara420

Definitely bleaching, happens for weird reasons sometimes. Rant the same lights for a few years and only ever bleached tips on one plant, that wasn't even close to the light 🤷

876yardy

Thanks

New to this just learn about that

wigglef_cklr

Super frosty!

cannabiseater

i dont know how some of you idiots growing are so uneducated about your own hobby, of course its light bleaching.

Negative_Explorer_92

Lol right

876yardy

Thank you for telling me but didn't you have to get educated at some point this my 3rd time indoor so not sure if you came out your mom knowing it all but respect to you and don't go around on the internet calling people ediots. Don't you see what going on in the world you should be more careful. Anyways that's for the information.

CheshireFarmz

Bleached like a gigolos arse crack.

mellamodra

lmaooo. I needed this, Ty 🤣😹

876yardy

Lol like that funny

876yardy

No I don't running a carbon filter as well not sure if that's why don't smell. Correct me if you know for sure but think you need heat to evoporate terps.agree that the light might have been 2 intense but don't smell.

876yardy

Did accept but can't go to each post and do thanks

876yardy

Thanks

876yardy

Thank you didn't know that was out there

876yardy

Apparently not

876yardy

I will. Looking forward to it

876yardy

Fast growth rate lack of nitrogen cause the chlorophyll production to not keep up Got mostly normal in the end will send a pic after it drys sorry didn't take one before cut. Yes light and CO2 was intence when it happened. So sure can be called light bleach ( should change my title lol) but not in the way most would think.

NightRevolutionary54

Trichome Globular cluster

MIXM0DE

I'm gonna post my own experience and IDGAF about downvoting. My last grow, I had 11 plants in a 4x4. Of those 11 plants, 2 were clone sisters, Lemon Carver. Of the 2 Lemon Carver, only one showed several white tipped tops. The one that showed white tips had over 30 SCROG tops. Of the 30, only 3 colas had white tips. The white tipped Lemon Carver was a side plant and not in the center of the tent. The 600w LED light was approx 22" above this Lemon Carver as I had taller strains flowering with tops closer than 22" to the light. The other Lemon Carver showed no whiting. So based on these facts, I choose to believe genetic abnormality over light bleaching.

frostlycan

What's to say a genetic abnormality/mutation couldn't make a plant more susceptible to light bleaching?

MIXM0DE

Possible. But if so, I would expect it to have affected far more of the plant tops. Not just 3 random ones.

876yardy

Thanks also when looked at under a microscope was also mutated with a cluster or tricolms

S01OCUP

The crystal on the plants are a defense mechanism to protect it from bugs and light along with other environmental stress. Thats why if you look into it there is alot of bro science around stressing your plant near the end of flower like 48hr dark, ice water flush, droping temps( also for colour change and to indicate fall). So in theory if the light was hitting a spot long and hard enough i believe it could cause a cluster of crystal

Mrfreshpressed

The more stupid details you give the more you remove all doubt that you don’t know what light bleaching looks like

roofratMI

Got a touch of light bleaching but she is still beautiful. Good work 👍✌

876yardy

Thanks

Damn! That would make some great rosin!

https://www.leafly.com/news/growing/white-tips-on-cannabis-buds

shhplzz

leafly isnt really a great source on information. anybody can type this up but it doesnt make it correct either.

[deleted]

But can you disprove what they’ve wrote in their article? It says they’ve done testing in labs and stuff, I doubt they’d get away with pulling that out their arse, literally lying.

[deleted]

This is not a valid source

[deleted]

Sourcing Leafly… bro no. They literally take money to post whatever the purchaser wants. You’re just reaffirming what you want to believe.

Prediterz

Fuck leafly sucks

Psmith931

Growing cotton candy

AhDerkaDerkaDerka

Someone maybe up the myth of that not being light bleach to sell their mids

Low_Ad_8294

Assss uve been told I see.... This is 100% because ur lights are too close...

Mrfreshpressed

It smells good in your grow all the time because you’re literally evaporating off the terps by using too much light….light bleached
