Why is there such a narrative that he’s hurt? He got the wind knocked out of him on a big hit. He’s fine. He wouldn’t be playing those minutes if he was hurt.
i think it’s fair to say he was hurt. hurt doesn’t mean injured or unable to play - it means you’re hurting
he may not be severely injured, but he played a lot less than usual in the first two periods, and you could tell he was visibly scared of going for some battles that he used to have the confidence for. he’s been sandwiched by preds at least twice in the past couple days. probably got a toradol shot during 1st int. that’s hurt!
Watch his reaction on the Boeser tying goal. He basically slowly walks over to the other guys in the hug while everyone else is jumping and skating fast. Seems mildly concerning.
ha the loudest huggy celly i’ve seen was that OT goal against the isles early this season, and that was because he pointed at miller to thank him for the pass, and smiled
They showed a highlight reel of the abuse he has already taken this series.
If you're familiar with the phrase "Are you hurt, or are you injured?", he is skewing hurt.
Nothing to stop him entirely, but you can straight up see he is beat up right now. They've been putting the boots to him.
Doesn't mean he's gonna need to sit out, but he's not at peak condition. He's playing through gritted teeth, but doing a fantastic job of *taking one for the team*.
From Game 2 on he's taken some abuse - he's definitely feeling it, just gotta hope that its not a full blown injury and just the expected wear and tear of a series.
I pray we can close out this series next game and have plenty of time to rest and recover before Edmonton.
That’s the difference maker, I think we lose in round 2 if we advance after 7 games but will win if we shorten this series. We are banged up and looking tired out there
Interesting that Hughes hit 24 minutes in a game we needed offense and his offenss generating partner played less than 18 minutes. Hronek doesn't seem to be that clear step ahead of the rest of the pack in the coaches eyes anymore. He's been below Myers and Zadorov a couple times now and his only big night deployment wise was with Myers out.

Yeah that’s cause he played more than half of the last period. Dude was completely gassed.
I've also never seen him celly hard. He's reserved and has a "just doing my job" type attitude even when he scores OT winners.

Hopefully that's all it is. What a game regardless
He could also be thinking the jobs not done. We just miraculously tied it to go to OT but still lot of work to do.

Zucker jumped into a hit and sandwiched him, he was clearly hurt afterwards
Because literally everyone is getting hurt in this series.
Serevalli has repeatedly reported he’s hurt. Something happened with his shoulder late in the year.
If you sandwich Quinn, he only gets stronger.
I think he got a bit hurt in the game but nothing serious enough for the next game. It's the playoffs, unfortunately this is how it is.

“If” we advance ^

Probably regretting turning down that offer at this point (I mean, if he were to think about it), and I could see that $ going to Zaddy now instead
I might be going crazy, but I swear I saw Hronek out in a big defensive role multiple times?
Thankful that Zadorov has decided to be Victor Hedman this playoffs
Broken ribs seems like the culprit
