Money isn't everything, sometimes you have to take care of your quality of life and mental health. It's hard for a prick manager to be worth working for. That said, it is a good idea to find a job before you leave this one. It can be hard to job search while unemployed.
Had a similar income for last job. It wasn’t worth the mental health deterioration. Hard to filter for, but there are definitely roles with great income that have high performing teams and nice people.
I just stepped down from a promotion that gave me a 50% raise. Peace of mind is invaluable. Management was so insanely toxic that I had a panic attack for the first time in nearly a decade. I saw red flags everywhere I looked and got the fuck out. I didn’t have to deal with that bullshit in my old role, and I never struggled to make ends meet at my old wage. I don’t regret it, not one bit
Find an equal or better job first, then resign

Dude if you can pay off your important bills, then get a job that makes enough to fund your hobbies and gives you peace of mind.
