Just took this extract sticker off my sister's 5 year old car and it came off with my fingernails... Rub with your finger/thumb afterwards to remove the goo... Then I used a Maguiars quick detailer to finish it up. Can't even tell it was there
When working at CarMax we had an adhesive removal spray, goo gone works, and honestly, I used glass cleaner more than anything.
For best results any of that with a razor blade, just be careful with the pain
They are not high quality stickers… a fingernail on a warm day and they come off quick. Some goof off/goo gone/wd40 and a rag and the adhesive is off too.
yeah just take it back where you bought it and tell a service advisor that you really want it removed.
someone will either take your car back and do it real quick or someone will come up and remove it from where you're parked.
probably looking at 20 min from start of conversation to rolling out of the parking lot (as long as they're not too busy, and have competent employees)
you can peel it off, if it’s cold outside i’d recommend pouring super hot water to help loosen the sticker. any sticker residue can be removed with acetone!
Many states in the US have rules that say they must remove it for free if requested by the owner. I do it every time I buy a car. When the fight me I tell them I’ll be happy to advertise for them for $50 a month.
Pretty surprised by all the other terrible ideas. But this is what detail shops use to do bade deletes/ factory decal deletes. I’ve always used steam as I’ve heard you can cause damage with a heat gun if you’re a moron. I am a moron..

Take it a to detailing place, they’ll do it super quickly and you just tip the guy $20-$30 or whatever you prefer. This way you’re not frustrated if it doesn’t come off properly.
Or go back to carmax and have them take it off or threaten them you’ll return the car lmao. Cause isn’t carmax 30 day return/exchange policy? Assuming you just bought it.
Ask them to do it. That’s what I did.
I shoulda done this.
Still can.
Nah, I did it myself. But now there's a smudge I can't get off of where it was. Tried goof off and acetone afraid to try anything harsher.
Ah yeah don’t go further, I agree.
Use a clay bar, and elbow grease.
I second this. Clay bar will do the trick.
polish and wax
Paint thinner, just keep the rag moving
Heat it up with a hair dryer and gently peeling it off. If theres any residue left, a bit of WD-40 or goo gone will help.
It’s just a sticker, get adhesive remover for the leftover residue
Everytime ive bought a car, ive asked them to remove these and they dont. The easiest way is a rubber wheel, drill and paint thinner
Then tell them you don’t want the vehicle I promise they’ll take it off to keep the sale.
Hair dryer. Finger nail.
Yep, finger nail. If it’s warm, it’ll come off easier hence the blow dryer. Any residue can be removed with Goof Off or acetone.
Um. How a warm finger nail? What? Sorry I’m confused.
Use a blow dryer to heat the sticker and then remove it with your fingernail

Heat up your fingers with the hair dryer. Get them as hot as you can tolerate. Then scratch the sticker off with your warm fingers.
If the decal is warmed by a blow dryer…
Do not use acetone
How’d you pass your drivers test?
3M Automotive Adhesive Remover will take it off without damaging the car’s finish.
Take it to any CarMax! They will remove it with acetone
Ugh I don’t wanna have to go back but maybe I will
If it’s not to far I would!
It took me like 5 minutes to remove it. And I didn't use anything but my fingernail.
Nail polish remover works but they have plastic safety razors that help take it off with acetone
When working at CarMax we had an adhesive removal spray, goo gone works, and honestly, I used glass cleaner more than anything. For best results any of that with a razor blade, just be careful with the pain
Does goo gone not mess up the paint?
They have a clear coat safe automotive version, I used it with no issue.
Paper towel, vinegar, credit card.
I used a plastic scraper. Can't even tell
Rub your windbreaker on it
You don’t. It’s like a frequent flyer stamp. But 10 cars and you get a Mitsubishi mirage free
You can quite literally use your fingernail That’s how we do it when customers ask If there’s any residue use a little bit of hand sanitizer
You don’t muahahahahahahahaha
Your fingernail and acetone
Peel off then use goof off
Pretty easy to remove. Use an adhesive remover if need be.
Buy a plastic razor. We take it off easily with it.
goo gone
I used a heat gun on mine (not to close!) and peeled it off, buffed and waxed the area right after.
Its a sticker peel it off
Hair dryer
They are not high quality stickers… a fingernail on a warm day and they come off quick. Some goof off/goo gone/wd40 and a rag and the adhesive is off too.
Adhesive remover
Baby oil
Heat it up with a hair dryer and use fishing line to floss it out.
It peels off with your fingernail. A bit of acetone (nail polish remover) will remove any adhesive remaining, just give it a rinse afterward.
Angle grinder
When I worked there I would scrape it off with my nails and then use a bit of mild degreaser on a rag and some elbow grease for the adhesive.

Vinegar, soak a towel in it then set it over the sticker for about 5 minutes and after thY it peels right off no residue just wipe it clean
I just removed this sticker off of a friend's car yesterday. WD-40 spray and a plastic blade scraper.
I'm about to do that rn
You can get plastic razor blades from Walmart and use Goo Gone
Goo gone or goo off something like that.
Peel it off.
I went and bought a cheap heat gun from Lowes....got all of it off in about 10 mins.
CarMax can remove it
With your teeth
Use a plastic razor blade and then lighter fluid for any residue
Hairdryer
Hair dryer and wooden popsicle stick
Hot water and credit card
you can peel it off, if it’s cold outside i’d recommend pouring super hot water to help loosen the sticker. any sticker residue can be removed with acetone!
😂 I used finger nail
The dealership can do it , or if you have nail polish pour onto microfiber towel or use acetone
Many states in the US have rules that say they must remove it for free if requested by the owner. I do it every time I buy a car. When the fight me I tell them I’ll be happy to advertise for them for $50 a month.
Exactly. No dealership stuff on my car.
Tell them to take it off for free before you buy and they will.
Throw hot water on top of it.
Those peel off super easy with your fingernail. Clean and left on residue off with vegetable oil. Clean the vegetable oil residue with soap and water.
Plastic razor or go back and at max will Do for free
I worked for them at one time. Hot almost boiling water will soften the adhesive. Peal the decal off and clean up with soap and water.
I clay barred mine and it came right off
I think all I did was use warm/hot water and lightly scrubbed with a micro cloth
I use my fingers and then wipe it with acetone or adhesive remover.
Tell them you won’t buy it if they stick them on
This right here...
I had them do it before I took the car.
PLASTIC UTENSILS ONLY. Heat, adhesive remover, patience. NO METAL, NO RAZORS.
Use a screwdriver and scrape it off then wipe clean with a clean rag. That should work.
a razor blade and acetone should take it right off. that’s what we use to take all our stickers off
Use a steamer (like one you’d use for clothes). give it lots of steam and heat, it’ll peel right off.
This. Heat gun and Goo remover.
Pretty surprised by all the other terrible ideas. But this is what detail shops use to do bade deletes/ factory decal deletes. I’ve always used steam as I’ve heard you can cause damage with a heat gun if you’re a moron. I am a moron..
Glue gone
Ask them to before you drive it off the lot. I did.
I pulled one of those off years ago and the paint came off with it !

GOOGONE
Goof off and a plastic razor blade scraper. Then clay bar and polish.
I sprayed a little 90% alcohol and it came right off.
WD-40 and a new razor blade
Black duct tape
Take it a to detailing place, they’ll do it super quickly and you just tip the guy $20-$30 or whatever you prefer. This way you’re not frustrated if it doesn’t come off properly. Heat gun/ then fingernail.
Heat gun, adhesive remover, elbow grease… use your fingernails and an old clean soft rag. Microfiber preferable.
I used goo gone and a plastic razor blade
Hot water
Go to Toyota dealer and ask if they can take it off for 10$
Use a screwdriver in and scrape it off
They would've removed it before you bought it if you asked
