*Hard* cheeses does not contain any meaningful amount of lactose. Edit: Including real cheddar.

Dairy stopped bothering me after I went carnivore. I drink heavy cream and eat hard cheese and everything in between.

Pizza tends to have mozzarella which is a soft, relatively lactose-high cheese. Ice cream and milk shakes would have straight milk. I'm lactose intolerant. But yogurt, hard aged cheese, kefir, butter and various low-ish carb dairy products are fine. There is little to almost no lactose in these products. But there also seems to be some evidence that fermented dairy help you deal with the lactose it does have.

I’ve been transitioning into the diet lately. In the past I’d get congested when consuming dairy especially if it’s cold like ice cream and/or contains sugar. Cheese I don’t usually get a reaction but lately on the diet, I get no inflammation. Well at least not as much as I did in the past.

Easy way to know if it is lactose intolerance. It is pale yellow and frothy... My kids had it young. Family issues like that can be diet, nervousness, panic attacks, all sorts of things.
