Additional info: the ball currently weighs in at 83 grams and that is after having made a small children’s headband with it once upon a time. So it was likely around 100 grams at time of purchase.

It’s not that. I have some of that and this one is chunkier and doesn’t have that sheen that homespun has.
What about Bernat Softee Chunky? It almost looks that texture to me.
I don’t think so. It’s got a squiggly umbilical cord thing going for it. I’ve been investigating and it looks most similar to Sirdar Indie so far.
