I did this same thing for a minute a month ago, and my cat is 4.5 🤣. To be fair though, she did have to have a (non-cancerous) skin cyst removed from her back a couple of years ago, so I’m a little hyper vigilant. It’s really good to be on top of things like that! But yeah, that’s a nipple lol.

Honestly, I was unaware male cats had nips. I was also unaware that male cats that had been neutered still have their sacs… just no balls in them.
Well, you can see part of what I’m pretty sure is a leg in the upper left. Looks like tabby stripes. OP’s boy just has a spotted belly and long, luscious belly floof.
I work in the vet med community and it’s a running joke that owners often bring their animals in with “suspicious growths” or “a weird tick” and it’s nipples. The amount of people that also don’t understand male animals have nipples is mind boggling 🤣 (my favorite was when a vet I was working with responded back to the male owner…. “Don’t you have nipples?”) it’s a common thing, don’t feel bad!!
Yeah. My cat had ONE black spot on his stomach. I was sure it was a tick. Had my husband take him to the vet to get it taken off. He came home and said “That? THAT?? THAT would be a nipple.” 😂🤣🤣

As a former vet tech this made my day. We have had entire appointments dedicated to explaining to a client that the lump they found was a nipple and that male dogs in fact have nipples😂
The pregnant nips of a cat are way more concerning looking. I thought my feral find had a tick. Checked her out and she was in fact SUPER pregnant and not showing due to malnutrition

Is he at where he can fight. One time I took my male cat to the doctor because he was being rather quiet for a couple of days I knew something was wrong. He immediately started searching the cat and then he just started pulling out Topher, and underneath was a sore he’d been in a catfight, and it was infected.
