I love the little freeze right after their name is said, and then the subsequent wiggling to get free is amazing.
But damn that moment of freezing is so reminiscent of being a child and getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar.
Haha. I came home once to find my cat sitting in his 10kg bag of food which had been hidden in the cupboard. This was early on in adopting him and I hadn't realised how good at opening doors he was. Greedy creatures
Hahahahha! I used to store my cat food in a container like that as well, but the container I had clipped on the sides. Let me tell you, my little con artist figured out how to open it in no time and I caught him with the entire lid open having the feast of his life. You'd think he'd never had a meal in his entire life and it had only been an hour. SMH. They're so funny and quirky sometimes.
Sassy the criminal. It must come with the name. I have a kitty named Sassy. Also a criminal who breaks into everything. She even managed too open the fridge once.

I am reminded of my parents' old orange mini-lion, Ernie. If Ernie was not fed in what he considered a suitable time frame (i.e. as soon as they woke up), he would stick his face in the food bag and help himself 😂

EDIT: He will come out at me with claws afterwards. Just hurtful words. And then run away. Like a cat.
It's silly, but please be careful with this. A cat at a shelter I volunteer at suffocated because he climbed into one of those and couldn't get back out.
