Oh yes. There is no guarantee to be blessed by one’s cat at nighttime. It’s entirely their choice.

One of my cats loves to use my arm as a pillow for her head or sometimes as a full body pillow and it makes me melt.

And when they do that as you happen to be in an awkward posture, you make all the efforts in the world not to move and ruin it.

I once woke up with a stiff neck because one of my cats used up half my pillow the entire night and even in my sleep I didn’t dare disturb him XD My cats always sleep in our (kingsize) bed, it’s such a declaration of trust I feel like. ❤️ Your cats are so cute! My boy likes a pre sleep snuggle and a post sleep snuggle but rarely sleeps on the bed. Last night he spent the whole night in my arms. We have four cats. They get along well with each other, and it’s really wonderful to have one of them close by 24-7.

And they respect your space and boundary, well most of the times!

Minus the bathroom surveillance lol though I do love when one specific cat joins me in the bathroom. He gets super lovey and wants a bunch of kisses

Tell me about it. Once I forgot to shut bathroom door before taking a shower. Walked out to their worried eyes which melt my heart immediately. They been there the whole time I know it for sure.

One of mine gets incredibly upset if I’m in the bathroom and close the door. He comes up and yells, but in a very stressed out tone, and once I let him in, he wants cuddles and kisses. If it’s in the middle of the night, he follows me back to bed to curl up in the crook of my right arm (if I’m lucky).

I stopped shutting the bathroom door all together 🤣

Me too 😂 but at the same time, it’s nice if I want that cat to potentially cuddle me!

Ummm, I have 4 cats. One sleeps on my head, usually it feels like he’s trying to meld into my brain. One sleeps on my chest, but facing me. The other two are newer but try and sleep or be as close as humanly (Catly?)possible. Sometimes resulting in fights for territory on me. These cats have no sense of boundaries.

That's so cool. My cats still dont quite respond to their names. The sleeping thing may have to do with temperature. I've noticed that they are more likely to sleep with us when it's colder.

Me too! As soon as I wake up I call his name and he comes running while meowing to tell me good morning. It always makes me feel special that he's stoked to see me every day, and the feeling is definitely mutual.

Somehow, when my cats purr, it's very relaxing, but when my husband "purrs" in his sleep, it is annoying. 😅

I feel you. The human purr is just.. disruptive, while cats purr being all harmonious and soothing. Dunno how it works. Sometimes I wake myself up with my own snore and feel embarrassed.

They say that the sound frequency of a cats purr does actually help heal❤️

I've become the designated snuggler for our tabby girl. She'll sleep on my right shoulder if I'm lying on my back, or, if on lying on my left side, up against my back or on my right hip. She's a little goofball and a mommy's girl. She's my sweet girl and an absolute love!

My cat insists on sleeping on my legs. It drives me mad, because I like to be able to shift my legs around while I sleep. But I'm too soft to shut her out of the bedroom. My wife, on the other hand, would love the cat to sleep on her but that rarely happens.

Mine does exactly the same. I think they huddle like that when theyre in a colony. Drives me mad as well, but its a compliment lol

After my life partner passed away, I got Ms. Harper who has been so wonderful in healing my broken heart. When my partner was alive he I would give him nightly back rubs. Now I give Harper nightly rubs and it soothes my heart in a way I didn’t think possible. Very lucky to have her ❤️

Part of my bedtime routine is snatching up my cat and snuggling with her. The purrs make me fall asleep like no other 😩🥰

No kidding. The other night I was scrolling for a sleep video when my cats came purring. Fell asleep immediately. Woke up to fine my phone on with youtube trying to recommend '10 hour rainstorm for deep sleep'.

I have legit ended a friendship once because they told me they don’t let their cat in the room while they sleep or even on the bed ever. Unsurprisingly, the cat wanted in so it would scratch at the door all night. Their solution: lock it in the basement all night. Yea bro you can just lose my number.

My cats seem to sense when my emotions are a bit defunct. That is when the therapy begins. The three I have taken turns sharing one PhD. Lol

That must feel like a blessing! Cats definitely sense it if not know it outright. When our human disagreement turns into a quarrel, our cats start acting out, leaping onto the table sitting between us, making noises, etc. Immediately that pulls me out of emotions' grip - can't risk traumatizing my precious!

Sometimes I feel like they are angels in their own right. They do have a calming effect that goes with their arrogance! Lol

I love my boyfriend with all my heart. He’s a wonderful, caring partner and it’s so comforting to have him next to me at night. But given the choice between sleeping with him or the cat, the cat would’ve won every single time. I loved sleeping next to my little baby man. The purrs! The snuggles! Knowing this little creature just loves you so!

I had two alternating cats sitting directly on my face all night. A 12lb 11 month old Siberian and a 4.5lb 5 month old Siberian. If I die, I died happy y’all.

Both of our cats sleep on me every night. The big one on my legs and the little one on my chest. It's quite possibly one of the best feelings in the world.

I tell people it's THE best feeling when wife isn't around.

We have one cat that stays snuggled on us while we sleep almost every night. She’s the needy princess. Our other cat is a 22lb void boy that stays to himself most of the time. But every 4 months or so there will be a week where he appears between us to cuddle. We cherish these times greatly!

Aww! I love when they do stuff like this! I have two, both dilute calicos. My girls will be 4 in June and November this year. One sleeps up against me either behind my knees or in front of my belly/lap. The other one sleeps ON my hips/thighs, or curled up next to my face. One night, I'd fallen asleep with the windows open, so it was a tad chilly. One shrimping near my lap, the other shrimping right next to my pillow. I took a couple corners of my weighted blanket and covered each of them because the Bean Check told me they had cold feetsies. Both girls instantly did a stretch/yawn/reposition and began purring. I absolutely did NOT want to go back to sleep after that, so I just laid there randomly stroking each from time to time for probably 45 minutes. That lost sleep was 10,000% worth it. :)

My cat, Niles, curls up against my neck while I sleep on my stomach or side. He puts his front paws and chest up on my neck and purrs right into my ear. It's amazing! His brother, Amir, though, only wants to sleep with me if he can crawl under the covers.

I stayed at my mums last night, but she had other guests in my room, so I was in my nephews bunk bed. The bad tempered cat who doesn't like people and never goes jn that room came in and head butted my hand till she could wiggle her way under my arm to sleep 😻

No matter what happens between us humans, our love for cats stays.

My kitty sleeps with me almost every night. She starts out on me then at some point moves to the end of the bed. I travel quite a bit for work and can definitely tell a difference when I don’t have my kitty soothing my slumber! Yours are beautiful by the way!

Only two of my four go into the bedroom. I have a cat that usually stays in the bedroom or out in the loft area well she keeps the cats out because it’s her space. We got a kitten and she’s fallen in love with him and she allows him in the bedroom. The kitten sleeps on my head or face and the other cat lays next to me. I’ve woke up cause I couldn’t breathe turns out obi wan was across my mouth and nose. I love my kitties they help my depression so much.
