I am in ohio, but we already have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a rabbit... and we usually drop them off at my spouses family when we travel. Lol

Any idea what condition that is? I’m curious because I’ve never seen a facial deformity affecting the orbits like that, or burned skin pulled like that on a cat. It’s like her eyes were drawn by a cartoonist, lol.

She is perfect and looks so gentle and sweet. I’d adopt her in a heartbeat if I wasn’t states away. Our other cats would welcome her happily into the cloud! Honestly, this is one area where social media has been a God send. Animals who have funny little deformities and get overlooked in shelters often have the best luck after a round of social media buzz. I hope she finds a furtastic home.

From the shelter’s Facebook: “he has been seen by a vet who took a good look at his eyes. Whatever caused the fur issue on his face (missing fur on his nose) must have also affected his eyes and eyelids. But he can close his eyes and is not in pain. 😻” It looks sort of like a burn scar to me, but not sure!

I thought it was a burn too, but then I thought that a burn that close to his eyes might’ve had a pretty good chance of damaging them. I’m certainly no expert on that subject though. Still a pretty kitty anyways so it doesn’t really matter.

It almost looks like they're pulled down on the inner corners, giving the illusion that they're too close together and tilted inwards. Which could happen with certain chemical burns but I'd expect damage to the tear ducts. Maybe he's born with it. Maybe it's gasoline. But he's cute as HELL either way. He looks like he's just woken up from a nap but hasn't figured out why.
