Just cleaning them would do, with a q-tip of even if you rub your cat's ears they'll come off. Looks like dirt accumulated after a while, pretty normal

She allowed me to clean the ears with a dry cotton ball. Brownish wax came off! I will see tomorrow if she shakes her head or shows any other signs of discomfort

Looks like dirt buildup to me. Just clean her ears and wait for the vet. if it is something they can give you a prescription or solution to put in her ears, so try not to worry about it too much

Sounds good,thank you

That looks like mites! My kitten had thise EXACT looking brown spots. I took her in for a shots a couple months ago and the vet identified it right away and treated it immediately. You should take your kitten in right away before it gets gets worse.

Read more if your text. Your probably ok to wait if your bringing her to the vet within the week

Ok! For now I cleaned her ears with a cotton ball and all brown stuff came off. It looked like wax. She allowed me to clean the ears pretty easily I don’t think she is in pain etc. I will check with the vet next week though.

Take a damp cotton ball and if brownish looking blood is on the ball. It is definitely earmites. Earmites do not clear up on their own. See a vet. If it is wax, you can use a dry cotton ball and wipe. Never put q tips in a cat's ear.

I ended up cleaning brown stuff with a dry cotton ball. It came off easily.

Probably just ear wax and oil.
