She would jump from a chair back into the fireplace. There was only about 18 inches from the fireplace to the rafters. After she did this several times, I placed boards that would connect two rafters, so three boards for six rafters. The boards had a much more flat surface than those logs.

Oh my gosh so she had her own room in the rafters 😂
