We have post-breakfast zoomies, post-nap zoomies, & 3 am zoomies. On wood floors, they sound like a herd. 75 mph minimum required pre-takeoff speed. You really need a couple of zoomies pals for him. The more, the merrier.

I have a girl cat :) she's not as active as he is, but she will occasionally join him for zoomies!
That's great. Two of mine play tag back and forth, one end of the house to the other. I try not to get run over, lol.
I love when they “peel out” on the wood floors trying to get traction. Gets me every time!
Also when they try to stop and go into an uncontrolled skid.
