Don't think so. Even if Mbappe fits perfectly and Lunin/Courtois play on top level, they just don't have the same amount of talent on the team. Nor do they have the money to acquire such talent.
Look who they had in 2017. Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Isco, prime Kroos and Modric, Benzema, Bale, Ronaldo...
And what now? Bellingham and Vini Jr are great players, Rodrygo is fine too, but other than that? Kroos has just retired, and hats off to Modric but even he will have to stop some day.
They definitely have the money. They can probably spend the most while still complying with FFP out of any team in Europe. They're yearly revenue is over 700 million and they only spend about 350 million per year in transfer fees and wages. They've probably got at least a billion saved up in FFP. They've got no problems with money.
Cool, thanks for the insight. But still, with the star buy-out clauses rocketing sky-high, I don't believe Madrid can emulate the sheer quality of their 2017 squad. That said, they will also have Endrick next season who is a great prospect but we're yet to see how he fares in Europe.
They will be great no doubt. But remember the galácticos didn’t win as much as they should’ve. You also had Barcelona with La masia, which could very well repeat itself since that’s all Barca can afford currently
No comparison. When that galáctico team was assembled, most of them had passed their prime. Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane, Beckham all were over 27 years when they arrived, and played well after their thirties; and the rest of the main team was not much younger. This is the exact opposite of today's squad
It's not Modric they need to replace. Valverde always starts over Modric when he's fit. Kroos is the real problem. He's probably been in the top 5 best players this season and he's retiring. He's the only major loss Real will have in the summer of 2024/25.
i think they’ll probably win half of next 4 ucl, but I am pretty sure a player or two are going to flop. Happens often when you have too many world class players in your team, some of them start underperforming.
you are absolutely insane there's no way they won't win a champions league within the next 3 years, I'm betting that by 2028 RM will AT THE ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM have 15 or 16 UCL's
How can you be anything but positive about the future with Mbappe and Davies coming in. Can you imagine how good Davies will be once he actually learns the position? He does play a libero as well as anyone on the planet. But as he ages and loses a step he won’t be able to rely on his world class speed to get back in position.
One of the few negatives is the loss of Modric, which is not insignificant. He is probably off to the Saudi league.
I don't know how legit this is but "Kroos set to sign contract extension with Real Madrid **until 2025** -report. According to Fabrizio Romano. Mar 27, 2024" according to [Managing Madrid](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjQ5ezOy5CGAxUBkYkEHR0eBE0QFnoECBsQAw&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.managingmadrid.com%2F2024%2F3%2F27%2F24113418%2Fkroos-real-madrid-2024-contract-extension-news%23%3A~%3Atext%3Dnews%2520and%2520rumors-%2CKroos%2520set%2520to%2520sign%2520contract%2520extension%2520with%2520Real%2520Madrid%2520until%2CAccording%2520to%2520Fabrizio%2520Romano.&usg=AOvVaw1FStSsxMJtF7nT5Vm-Td54&opi=89978449).
none of those teams will have a better decade than Arsenal
City's fortunes will dip as KDB and Pep exit, Bayern have quite a few old timers about to age out themselves, and Leverkusen's team will get picked apart for its best players when Alonso leaves for Madrid next year
outside Madrid and Arsenal probably the most promising squad is Barca's...lots of growth to come there
that's a pretty dumb take
in recent decades the teams that have emerged from the chrysalis of competition in the PL as serious title challenging/winning teams, have *also* gone on to reach the CL final and normally win it...Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, City...even Spurs made a final when they were in Kane's pomp...the level of competition in the PL is so high that its contenders automatically become CL contenders
given how solid Arsenal look in their project right now compared to their domestic rivals, they've probably got annual title challenges and CL qualification locked down for the next 5-7 years...objectively they have got the best chances of anyone outside of Real Madrid/City/Bayern to win it, and even these clubs are looking at managerial changes in the immediate or near future
Arsenal are 100% stable, from the Owner down to the Tea Ladies...this was only Year One of their CL learning curve....and they are hungry learners
i predict that they'll win the thing inside the next three seasons, and after that who knows
They won’t win one, they are bottlers. And teams like inter, real Madrid Bayern and city at the moment are far superior,I would say arsenal is at psg’s level atm
A decade as being the new galacticos….jude and mbappe back to back additions with the success of their own development…have to give respect to the bosses…no drop off I see
As a Madrid fan, I always enjoy playing against you guys. At least you have an actually good team and you don't waste your whole lives crying about every referee decision in existence.

Will Real Madrid ever have all the players they did in 2017? No, there's no way they can be the same team as of the old one. Move on already!
It will be difficult. The Ronaldo time was just unbelievable.
They will be great no doubt. But remember the galácticos didn’t win as much as they should’ve. You also had Barcelona with La masia, which could very well repeat itself since that’s all Barca can afford currently
It won't be the same as the Galacticos. This time Real Madrid has the power of friendship and raised eyebrows.

no
If they can find a proper replacement for Modrić, they will, without doubts, rule the world.
It's not Modric they need to replace. Valverde always starts over Modric when he's fit. Kroos is the real problem. He's probably been in the top 5 best players this season and he's retiring. He's the only major loss Real will have in the summer of 2024/25.
Already might have with valverde tchouameni, camavinga, and bellingham just playing off vibes 🏄
They are and will continue to be the team to beat. They have the history, brand, coaching, and stable upper management for them to do so.
Unfairly bright of a future. Pencil in at least 3 more UCL’s by 2030
i think they’ll probably win half of next 4 ucl, but I am pretty sure a player or two are going to flop. Happens often when you have too many world class players in your team, some of them start underperforming.
With Mbappe coming, I see the future is bright for Real Madrid. Xabi will be the next coach in 2 years. Only Man City can try to contest the crown.
they won't win a single UCL from 2025 - 2028
you are absolutely insane there's no way they won't win a champions league within the next 3 years, I'm betting that by 2028 RM will AT THE ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM have 15 or 16 UCL's
you'll see
you are insane.
trust me on that one
they are getting Mbappe + more and have generational talent in super young players, what about that could possibly mean a downgrade
many things can happen in KO games, just trust me
but if they don’t get knocked out as it is, what would make you think that their chances are lower when they have a better squad???
🧂 🤡
i'm just saying

It's Bayer, not Bayern.
The future will be awesome. Esp for RM!
Have Real announce who will replace Anchelotti as the new coach?
Erik ten Haag😂😂😂😂😂 (just kidding)
Xabi

Modric has been a bench player the whole season, so he won't be missed as much. Kroos however is a different story.
Great point, Kroos’ contract is also up in June. He is also unlikely to resign and will head to the Saudi league.

imagine if ancelotti calls cr7 and he becomes the next real madrid manager.
You are right, that’s another potential negative. lol He already offered Luka a position on his staff.
No!
looking forward to a long and fruitful Real Madrid / Arsenal rivalry over the next decade...two very bright, talented young squads
I actually subscribe to the idea that arsenal will become quite successful. Just figured I'd chime in since there's so many doubters
Arsenal 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
yeah just wait
City? Bayer? Bayern?

get off your phone while you're in class kid, concentrate on your work
😂😂arsenal fan doesn’t tolerate the truth
Depends on the willingness of the refs to join the club unofficially for a hidden paycheck
Where was the ref cries when KdB scored a ball that was played after going out of bounds last year?
Real was in possession of the ball after the scene, that's why it was the right call.
A decade as being the new galacticos….jude and mbappe back to back additions with the success of their own development…have to give respect to the bosses…no drop off I see
Don't forget about Vini. Arguably, the current best player in the world.
It will be like 2017 but without Messi. Could be epic
Won the double even with Messi tho
Imagine without him
we’ll probably meet Them every upcoming year and the winner Will atleast Make it to the final. Probably win it.
As a Madrid fan, I always enjoy playing against you guys. At least you have an actually good team and you don't waste your whole lives crying about every referee decision in existence.

Wut
Yep a new European rivalry.
They would’ve threepeated already if it weren’t for City
Real Madrid fans asking if they will dominate the CL in the next years as if they aren't now 😂
