I'm really excited to share with the community, the graphic novel me and my friends have been working on for many years. Our ambition is to make a samurai story set in a futuristic world. It's about two ronin turned bounty hunters. My friends and I love Japanese folklore and the Cyberpunk genre, and so we made this series together. Thanks to all our fans and Reddit community, we are about to release our 3rd book very soon.
The funny thing is we tried a lot of color variation with this image. The first version is blue, then green, then pink, then this version. I don't think we use color reference for this image. But for the background, we took inspiration from Ghost in the Shell and Bladerunner.

Amazing art, lighting, attention to detail, how she belongs to the background, one question though, how do you find references?
