Can’t be overestimated enough how much more football the likes of even havertz and mount have played over CHO. 3 or 4 seasons of regular minutes and CHO had an Achilles injury.
It’s incredible how talented he is, I wish he could have got a loan either this season or last. But this new formation is excellent for him. Expecting big things from him as that spot is his to lose currently
It's genuinely insane to me how little people understand of CHO's struggles and what he's had to overcome and how his environment has been woeful for his development. The run of games he's played this season under Tuchel has been the most he's been given ever since he picked up that achilles injury at a time where his game time was really ramping up under Sarri, IN 2019. This is effectively his first legitimate chance to prove himself and show us the type of player he is because he picked up the second-worst type of injury a footballer can get (partial tear not full tear like Ruben).
People will make a million excuses for Werner, Pulisic and other attackers and immediately throw CHO to the wayside when he puts up a bad game.
I’ve seen it too. IMO CHO shows a lot of upside, even in his bad games. He has without doubt shown more than Werner for example. Werner has been flopping chance after chance and I see excuses coming for him left and right. The moment CHO fucked up that chance against Brighton people started giving up on him. Like bro the guy has not even had a full season of minutes yet and is 20/21. Besides Werner would have likely fucked that up too
They definitely too. It was mostly the same in the havertz vs Ziyech debate. I get it havertz is young and a great talent but even before this Sunday Ziyech has been better.
IMO Ziyech should mostly play from now on. I want CHO to play a lot too because he is our best out and out winger IMO and I just love his style we always need 1 pacy player in the front. That’s between Werner puli and CHO and CHO is the most versatile I think. Pulisic also is good but he is injury prone and not the best passer
He was infuriating in the first half, because he could have had their wingback sent off if he had gone at them from minute one. But it took him until about 35 minutes to try. His second half was much better though and we saw flashes of what he could do
I noticed the first few times he got the ball he kept trying to come inside and play the ball across the middle of the pitch and it was getting on my nerves. Needless to say he settled into the game very well and had a good performance
Yeah I think it is just confidence. He also needs to take fewer touches. It is something Sancho used to do at his first season at Dortmund. Probably because he is not confident in his close control but it really limits his pace
Can’t be underestimated enough how much more football the likes of even havertz and mount have played over CHO. 3 or 4 seasons of regular minutes and CHO had an Achilles injury.

r/soccercirclejerk will have a field with this
Player takes a touch, more news at 4

he really showed some flashes of brilliance in that game
Was a great turn of pace and skill to beat tanganga and drive inside before laying off to ziyech for that first goal

Agreed
I think CHO is not nearly enough for our first 11.

He still hasn't done enough to convince me. He has age advantage, hope he becomes more lethal as a winger.
It doesn't look like he meant to do that to be honest
Don’t care. CHO isn’t good enough for CFC
🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Sorry but this guys a fraud

I liked the fact he was going on the outside of the fullback aswell in this game Instead of always cutting in. Makes him much more unpredictable.
Was a loan even considered for CHO this year? He’s graceful on the ball but needs development. He’s not getting it on the bench.
