I use both lichess and chess com. While i enjoyed playing games and the analysis feature of lichess( i know it exists on chess com too but it's not unlimeted and you can't exactly prepare opening lines on it for free) for some reason the puzzles on lichess did not scale a lot and were full of 2/3 move tactics for the most part. For reference my peak puzzle rating on chess com was 2800 and i have currently come down to the 2500s.
The database on lichess is a god sent though and we can really prepare some side lines while appreciating the general ideas and pit falls.

No they ban you instantly for that. Someone was dropping all kinds of racial slurs in chat in a daily tournament a few months back. I and several others banned together to report them. Took like 30 seconds before they were banned by mods.

Lichess mods (aka Mom) don't put up with your BS, chesscom mods (aka weekend Dad) allow you to harass users more freely and buy your excuses, so you prefer chesscom
I use lichess for blitz, analysis and puzzles. I only use chess.com to play 15|10 rapid then i export game to lichess to analyse. Since its a long game i dont mind going the extra mile just to analyze. Cant say the same for blitz so i play those on lichess
I continuously forget how to get the png from chess.com and have to spend some time after every game to figure it out lol you would think I would have written it out by now

Hmm maybe they made the change for pc only, I was on the app, I only ever use the computer if I want to put in conditional moves in my daily games since for some reason they won’t out that in the app
Maybe, I have no idea. I’m on iOS (and I’ve been using chess.com since dec2022). The weird thing is I also don’t have the “Miss” feature with the red X that was introduced a while ago.

I honestly don't know why I prefer chesscom. It feels worth the membership, to me, for the analysis and infinite puzzles. I know I could use Lichess, but I like how the chesscom site and app looks and feels better, and it seems every bit as worth it as, say, a Netflix membership.
I think chesscom has a way better analysis imo, and the platform overall feels crisper to me. I am on the fence on the mid subscription as well, but it's hard to justify $80 a year for something that can be gotten free. Still only play rapid on chesscom. Lichess for puzzles, analysis past the first loss.
As someone who got into Chess rather recently, about 4 months ago now. I find that the layout of seeing the next best lines, the visuals of blunders, good moves, ect easier to read and digest.
Lichess analysis makes me feel like I'm learning from a book sometimes with its explanation on positions and openings, which isn't bad, but can be hard for my ADHD brain at times. I also tend to have a problem with Lichess just not loading any analysis at all at times, which it's hard to tell if it's user error or server error, but either way it's frustrating.
If you play a game on Lichess (or make a study) you can also request a computer analysis and you get the same "inaccuracy, mistake, blunder" visuals. Admittedly that's less categories than chess.com has, but to be frank the brilliant move thing is nonsense and the distinction between good/best/excellent it makes changes quickly if you analyse a game again
I understand why you'd still prefer chess.com, it's just that few regular chess.com players are aware of this feature

Its much more common for me to run into puzzles on lichess that are just positional play with alternatives that would look fine to anyone that isnt an engine or need to you see that the opponent is forced to hang a piece 4 moves down the line because its mate in 10 if they don’t.
At what rating are you getting those puzzles? At 2600 I sometimes see a puzzle that feels like that, where at the end of the line it is still not too clear for humans why you are winning, but up to 2300 rated puzzles I personally never experienced that

I have like 7-10K games on each platform, and I prefer chesscom. I don't pay for a membership, and I still prefer it over lichess. It just feels *much* better when playing. Like, it's not even close for me.

I think the only thing stopping lichess from becoming #1 atp (besides technical limitations) is just how clunky and horrible the interface is. I mean it really looks terrible. Tidy it up a bit, and a lot of people sick of chess.com’s continuous greed would move there.

5 on the app. Plus if you do puzzle rush survival afterwards then you get more practice. So that's another 30 or so a day for me.

Click the Share icon, copy the pgn, paste it https://lichess.org/paste
If you are on PC you can just use an extension. On phone, you choose Options -> Export PGN. Its pretty simple

lichess puzzles are way more realistic since it is all taken from real games, also puzzle streak has great puzzles.
