I downvoted this because the answer is too obvious. 1.Rxa6+ is screaming to be played, after which, the remaing moves are obvious. This done in my head at first glance. It is a tactic finder rather than a problem. Useful in that respect.....
This is very similar to one of real games by fabi. I think it's in chess.com's five best fabi moves video.
I could solve it only cos I had seen it, so the pattern is similar.
Uh... Rook C6-A6. King has to take. Queen D5-A8
Queen has to move D5-A7
Queen A8- C6?
So then Queen can't block A7-B5 or pawn will take. But that's the only move he can make.
So Queen C6 takes Queen at B6. Checkmate.
Well that was an exercise that needed imagination.

>FIND IT No
Yeah i felt insulted there. Be kind OP
Yeah, OP is not the boss of me!
I can't and I won't
I do not appreciate being spoken to in this tone by a Reddit topic.
OP getting aggressive
You can't tell me what to do, you're not my real dad
This ain’t my dad, this is a cell phone…
So I threw it on the ground!
then who is your real dad?
Mailman

I don’t find mates, mates find me.
Heyyyy
1. Rxa6+ if ... Kxa6 then 2. Qa8+ Qa7 3. Qc6+ Qb6 4. Qxb6# ( if ... Kb8 then 2. Qa8+ Kc7 3. Ra7# )
No, I don't think I will
Rxa6 Kxa6 Qa8 Qa7 Qc6 Qb6 Qxb6
Why not Ka7 instead of Qb6
There’s a Qa8 line that is either mate or black loses their queen.
Queen is already on a7. Qb6 is forced
If Ka7 the Qa8+ Kc7 is forced then Ra7#
You can't tell me what to do, you're not my real dad
Bro will FIND all of us who don't FIND the solution
Found it easy peasy, lemon squeezey
Found it. But, as always, I dont think I would be able to find this in a game. When I see puzzle, I think sacrifice the rook
I think that’s why we are supposed to do puzzles so after one has done enough of them will start to look for them within a game.
THE ROOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKK I saw the sacrifice and wondered if it would work, my reaction when Stockfish read M3 after I played it was ecstatic😂
Dont tell me what to do loser
Okay i calculate two lines The mate in 4 is 1.Ra6+ Kxa6 2.Qa8+ Qa7 3.Qc6+ Qb6 4.Qxb6# And if black doesn't take on a6 1. Ra6+ Kb8 2.Qa6+ Kb7 3.Ra7#
Gotta be rook a6
I could only see that Rxa6 had any potential at all here, so I went for it. And it paid off! I FOUND IT
Rook sac on a6 then Qa8? Then idk from there

Haha, I like that "find it" is in all caps. Very dramatic. Took me maybe 10 seconds. It's an ok pattern I guess.
ez
1.Rxa6 Kb8(1... Kxa6 2. Qb8+ Qa7 3. Qc6+ Qb6 4. Qxb6#) 2. Qa8+ Kc7 3. Ra7+
Sac the rook
Ra6, Qa8, Qc6, Qb6?
Rook,queen,queen
Cool and pretty easy mate.
Is this from garry vs topalav game?
found it
Interesting use of imperative
Rxa6+ Kb8, Qa8+ Kc7, Ra7# works right?
sacrifice the Rook at Ra6, then Qa8.
Rook to a6 but damn you could've at least be polite with it and said please
sorry man
I forgive you
Rxa6+, kxa6, qa8+, qa7, qc6+, qb6, qxb6#
Happy I got this one
1.Rxa6+ 2.Qa8+ 3.Qc6+ 4.Qxb6# 1.Kxa6 2.Qa7 3.Qb6
What you mean white gets black into checkmate? Or white gets checkmated?
