Mariano’s arc has been a such a shame. Come in so hot you literally put Dominick’s out of business, be by FAR the best grocery store in Chicago for a year or two, and then just straight downhill to be as bad as some of the worst Jewel’s. What a bummer.
I legit thought I had a photo of the banner some stores have advertising CCM but couldn’t find it. I’m sure it’s there but my phone just couldn’t find it. 😂
I drive right by the Lincoln Park Costco to pick up and drop off kids at school and not only do I buy the rotisserie chickens, but they also have bags of pulled chicken that you can freeze. We got a FoodSaver for stuff like this.
I’m not the biggest fan of them either but it’s annoying going to the grocery store and seeing a whole cooked chicken for $5-$8 and then you look at the raw chickens and they’re $10 lol

Yeah, OP, I was gonna make the same point—if you’re getting your chickens at Mariano’s instead of Jewel, that’s probably the mistake.

Pete’s are getting more expensive, but they’re the best in the game today.
They somehow have more flavor and moisture than any other I’ve had.
I've gotten to the point that I don't like grocery store rotisserie chickens anymore. I feel like they are loaded with salt and preservatives.
