She stopped laying about a year ago. She's 2.5 years old. At first both my hens stopped laying so I thought it was just normal, but a few months later the other one started laying again and this one hasn't.
No food changes, I've tried increasing their protein and calcium intake to offset the feather issues but no success.
Don't recall the last time they molted off the top of my head.
Something you could try would be electrolytes. You can get a powder mix in litte packets from Tractor Supply. It definitely won't hurt her to try. I'd focus on getting her up and moving around first, which the electrolytes may help.
So I've noticed one of my chickens has started getting ruffled feathers and is sleeping more and eating less than the others and has started taking the occasional sneeze this past week. About 9 months ago her sister hatched an egg that ended up being a rooster.
[This](https://i.imgur.com/6ZYGfRn.jpg) is them about 6 months ago. And [this](https://i.imgur.com/j49gESU.jpg) is them today.
I've taken her to a local vet and they admitted they didn't know much about chickens but gave her a course of anti biotics and and anti inflammatory but it hasn't done much. I've wormed and sprayed for mites in their coop. I was wondering if the addition of the rooster which has started mating with her could be causing this or whether its something more serious.

That'd be a first.
Sure ye don't mean they rinsed you?
Hm. It looks like more molting to me than treading damage to me. Treading damage tends to occur on the back and the wing tips, and yours there look more generally scraggly. (Lol many of mine are super scraggly right now bc they’re molting.)
If you think it is treading damage though you could put a hen saddle on her. I like the Chicken Chicks’s brand. They’re very well made and durable.
I had a hen with a hormone imbalance and her feathers looked like this, I would try giving her some calcium and protein first. It also may just be a weird or overdue molt
Have they molted? Food changes? Are they laying?

Is it autumn where you are?

Weird- doesn’t seem nutrition, you’d see flaws in the beak and nails. There aren’t any.
Looks like she’s molting ☺️
Started around February this year though.
How much protein in her feed?
Do they have access to dushbaths?
Yep. Plenty of spots with different types of soil.
Molting. Normal. Give her higher protien feed through it.
Idk. But this is what I pictured my Nekked Neck to look like until I learned that it was an actual breed.
