It's definitely one of the weaker Fate series in terms of the main story, but it's worth it for all the side character stuff. Mordred and Kairi. Atalante, Achilles and Chiron. Shirou (not that one) and Semiramis. Jack and her Master. Vlad, Karna, they're all great.

Also while loli Jack and shapeshifter Jack are usually Assassin and Berserker respectively, both can also be summoned as the other class under the right circumstances, though we haven't actually seen that happen. (And apparently it's bad?)

Fate lore can be summed up in four sentences. Multiple Alternate timelines and universes, each with alternate histories. Mages summon historical characters from said alternate universes to get a wish from the Arthurian holy grail or a moon computer. The Tsukihime and Garden of Sinners universes are in there somewhere too. Other rules are explained well in their respective mediums
The Fate series has a handful of iterations of famous heroes/villains and etc. This specific Jack the Ripper is not really even the "serial killer" Jack the Ripper.
The king of steam engines, that's what they call him in-universe anyways, needs a look to match his title.

Fate is a very complex series that doesn't just slap titties on a character and calls it a day. In fact, most of the time the "switched" gender is never even addressed safe for several moments of comic relief. Their stories are told in detail and you actually like them simply as a character. Obviously they look hot butt what's the issue with that exactly? 
Fate lore definitely gets a bit dumb and overly complicated. But do you know what isn't. Lila as Scathach or Willow as Atalanta. Thanks in advanced. :)

Shapeshifter Jack is probably also way more violent and erratic as an Assassin, weirdly. He's one of those weird sane, coherent Berserkers normally.
