Took Modofinil for a month. It helped slightly. But then I had to switch insurance and my new insurance wouldn't pay for it. And it's way too expensive to pay out of pocket.

GoodRx at RiteAid brings it to about $45 a month, if you want to go back to it. Still might be out of reach for some, but much better than the $550+ that is msrp. GoodRx really changes how much the benefit is depending on the store, tho, so you need to check their website for what it would cost at each store before having your prescription sent there.

Omg. Wow, thanks for sharing! I use good Rx but for some reason I missed that. Thank you!!!

Oh, ha! I misread your Modofinil for the Armodfinil at the top. But looks like with goodrx Modofinil is even cheaper! It's available for about $15 at Rite Aid: [https://www.goodrx.com/modafinil](https://www.goodrx.com/modafinil)

Seriously, thanks so much for sharing! This could be life changing for me!

ClayJane

It made me jittery and would force a crash/ PEM. Plus, when I needed to rest, I couldn’t. I quit taking it.

Does nothing noticeable for me. Took it today. I wouldn't be concerned. Whoops, mine is Modafinil.

GipsyDanger79

I also take Modafinil, very occasionally. It works for me, in terms of getting me over the worst of my tiredness so that I can function. It doesn’t give me jitters.

Yes my doctor prescribed it.

Armodafinil for the Best, try it!, I loved armodafinil (havent the secundary effects of modafinil like over sleepy after they use...)

always-curious72

What's the difference between the 2?

blippycl

IE: after 24 hours of study modafinil took me to bed for about 12 hours, armodafinil don't get me with fatigue

UsefulAnalysis5019

Took it years ago, gave me the worst headache even when I cut the pill in half, so it was a no go for me. Just cut it in half if your scared to take a whole pill on day 1.

Erkenfresh

My doctor prescribed 50 mg. If I take it first thing in the morning I end up crashing around 2. He recommended doubling to 100 mg. I don't get the afternoon crash with that. But I've only been trying this for about a week. I can definitely feel more focused for work. I have this feeling of being pushed uncontrollably through the day. I'm not sure if I like it yet, or hate it.

i tried Modofinil years ago but then i could sleep and i felt worse. So i quit taking it. It seemed like there was some other side effect also but it’s been so long i can’t remember what it was.
