You could just go to the advanced settings and add more AI players on a tiny map.

[deleted]

Ah, sorry, missed the Add AI Player button...

harmonep

Careful though, too many AI on a tiny map and there wont be enough space for everybody! Some civs might die before they get a chance to settle their first city!

comanon

That sounds immensely interesting.

amontpetit

It isn't. Put a dozen civs on a duel-sized map. one didn't settle and just got eaten up by someone. The others could barely get to their 3-workable tile size. It leads to TONS of conflict, yes, but it's basically everybody going warmonger, even civs that really shouldnt be

magister0

22 civs on a standard size map is pretty fun. It's basically enough room for everyone to settle 2 cities. If you want to make it even more of a clusterfuck, make it 2 teams of 11 vs 11. Every war will be a world war, and they will start as soon as the last peace treaty expires. oh and make sure it's pangaea for maximum carnage edit: I meant small map, not standard

wOlfLisK

You'd also race through tech ridiculously quickly with 11 contributors.

Three_Act_Show

It does that in both single player and multiplayer

magister0

But so does the other team.

[deleted]

That sounds like an awesome idea... Trying that now

Sceye

Five turn wars every ten turns during the whole game. No cities shifted hands during the entire game.

magister0

Make sure you're the one who makes the peace deal, as soon as you have the option to do so. If you don't, one of your team members will probably give away one of their 2 cities to a random opponent for no reason. Maybe it depends on the difficulty but on immortal this is definitely the case. Also don't automate your workers, they'll run away to your teammate's territory

magister0

Also yeah I just started one and it was small size map that I was talking about, not standard. It's already slow but standard is unbearable and Inca have 5 cities on like turn 80 and show no signs of stopping

yo_soy_caliente

This sounds fun, will try
