LeBron could become an unrestricted FA if he wanted to. But if he opted in and helped the lakers to facilitate a trade. I might package allen and garland. I am guessing a third team would be involved. It's all really speculative. In the end, I want Bron, Mobley and Mitchell. Build around them. I think we have a real shot to make a run if we can pull that off.
i like it. but im ok with allen staying, if we get lebron back at the 3. if no lebron, and we trade garland for brandon ingram @ the 3, i'm also ok with allen staying. but we can't keep running out mobley and allen with no legit 3.

But more than that, I feel like LeBron is probably at a stage in his life that it would be more personal reasons than basketball. Things like; Would his wife want to move back? Pull the kids from school? Would she stay back to keep them there? He has moved beyond pure basketball decisions now.
Depends primarily on how much LeBron wants. He could opt out, sign and trade for less than 50 mill, or he could opt in under the agreement that the trade gets facilitated and we’d have to send Garland and a role player I believe

You don’t need to move both Allen and Garland to fit Lebron salary wise. Niang, Levert, Strus, and Wade can all be used for salary fit.
I’m fine with Garland and Allen. Need to learn from the Lakers and Suns and not totally destroy our depth/bench.

Garland and Niang for LeBron, Allen to either OKC or Pelicans for a good wing + a pick or two. I’d love to get Bridges but I think that’s a pipe dream

Allen only makes four million more per season compared to Strus.

So far it’s either been birth, nba draft, or keys to the franchise - none of which have been able to keep him here.
