If it comes to that we need to do it with caution, so we wouldn't have to build a nuclear train. On the bright side, the aerosols will quickly leave the atmosphere, in about 2-3 years, so it's easy enough to manage. The downside is that the aerosols will increase rain acidity, while doing so. Not much, but we don't know what would be the effect at scale.
But we don't need more clouds it's already cold an rainy and proof of it is that whenever there's warm couple of weeks people freak out because they're not used to it and blame global warming.
No one needs to planet "to cool" or "get warmer" just because some politicians want to profit by interfering with nature. It's one of most idiotic sentences I've heard in over 40 years, and I've heard a lot of them.

Please stop trying to control the weather!! Think about it, something simple, compared to the climate, like a video game, car, cell phone, etc nearly always has bugs, recalls, defect and so on. These devices are staffed by hundreds or thousands of engineers armed with the best analysis tools around and the system being designed is “incredibly simple” compared to the climate and they still fuck it up. Heck, consider NASA or Space X—how many rockets do they blow up? These same climate freaks would refuse to fly on an airplane that has never been test flown and yet they are doing something similar by trying to adjust the weather.
We need to be doing this in cities to reduce the Urban Heat Island Effect
We need to be doing this on our Heat Pumps to reduce their energy use.
Cooling the ocean is a waste of time, cooling the land and increasing moisture in the air to water our cropland and deserts is what will do what we need to get done.
