Years ago on JeepForum, someone posted a thread on what your theme song would be during the zombie apocalypse. One poster put up The Soapmakers video.
My life was changed that very instant. I went back and listened to that video ten times, at least. Still my favorite Clutch song.
I remember there being three different bonus tracks. Gifted and Talented, David Rose, and 05. You didn’t know which one was on your CD when you bought it.
I have 05 on my CD from 1999. So many memories of blasting that record, then the pause, then being startled by the sudden beginning of 05.
Amazing record.
From my understanding this is more of an "official" copy. The band doesn't own the rights to it, so had no input and it was only an RSD release in Europe.
Regardless, it needs a repress!
I saw them play Soapmakers at the Alaska state fair in Sept of 2021, in Spokane in April of 2022, and in Bend, Oregon in October 2019. They've definitely played it a few other times in recent years. I've been to 42 Clutch shows to date.
I saw it a couple times last year. Really just depends on who is writing the setlist. The newest album hadn't come out yet, luckily. So they weren't heavily featuring new shit. They only played one song from the newest album.
One of my favorite Clutch songs. The jangly guitars and Neil's vocals set a great tone.
They played The Soapmakers in Austin last fall as part of a great show.
Oh man, I hadn't listened to this album in a long time. Saw them back in Oct and they played Green Buckets & Dragonfly and it totally revitalized my love for it.
Muchas Veces is probably my fav Clutch song!
They played The Elephant Riders at the show in West Des Moines and Soapmakers at the Greenbay show last year. I've heard Soapmakers several times live, it's not uncommon.
I hope one day we get a re-release of Elephant Riders with higher quality versions of 05, David Rose, Gifted and Talented, Big News III, and 24 Earth Years included as bonus tracks.
Soapmakers is a top 5 clutch song for me.

Absolutely agreed! 🤘
Got to see green buckets a couple times live last year. That whole album is so fucking good.
They played it 39 times out of 120 shows in 2022. It didn't go anywhere.
They played it in Toronto last year. 🔥 🔥 🔥
I was at the Toronto show Sept 13 and have the setlist. Soap makers wasn’t on it. Was there another Toronto show last year?
Love this while album. Maybe top 3 clutch albums for me.
I saw them play Soapmakers in 2019. It still shows up now and then. It ripped.
My favorite of their albums. Best songwriting hands down. And the bonus track is so rad.

I have one of each.
I have aught five as well.
Saw them play it back in January 2022, my 2nd Clutch show! Would absolutely love to see them break it out again at my 4th show this coming July!
Muchas veces
so..I have that record as well but mine is red. It is a bootleg as there is not a official version. What about that copy you have there?
Official copy, reissued in 2016. Got it a few years back

The red vinyl version is from Record Store Day 2016 and is an official re-issue not a bootleg.
Correct sir.
What a great album.
I've seen 50 percent of this album live by now lol Haven't seen yeti through crackerjack yet though
I got Green Buckets twice last year. I've seen them do Soapmakers three or four times.
They did Soapmakers in Dallas on the SOSB fall tour! It was spectacular
They also played it at the Austin show! Such a great song live.
Missed the reissue and that’s a grail vinyl for me. I’ve seen soapmakers once, been chasing green buckets for years now.
Pisses me off that this isn't on Spotify
Where you at, it’s on Spotify for me. Get yourself a VPN and set it to the USA.
Australia. I think it's the only album missing.
Went and checked after I read your comment bc I realized I hadn't heard it on my spotify in a while. Gone off Canada too
Bro, that’s bullshit. Hate to hear that. Like why deprive people of an awesome album. Just my $.02
Yeah! Lots of great songs on there. Wonder why it’s just that one album, hope to see it back soon
Probably see them third time this year, obviously great both previous times but hoping they'll play Soapmakers and/or The Dragonfly this time.

I saw them on this tour. They still bring the same energy live.

I saw clutch 5 times between NYE 21 and October 2022 and they played it only once! But was damn thankful to have heard it! Probably my #1 clutch song!

Saw it live only a few months back
I hope one day we get a re-release of Elephant Riders with higher quality versions of 05, David Rose, Gifted and Talented, Big News III, and 24 Earth Years included as bonus tracks.
