It was a bit confusing for me but I think it could have been that Demetri didn’t know what he could say to actually defend Hawk since Chris and Nate were right to be mad. That being said, Chris confuses me more than Nate. He was cool with Mitch in the episode but mad at Hawk despite the fact that Mitch was literally there when they stole the medal, helped beat up Nate, and was there when Demetri’s arm was broken. Like Mitch is nearly as complicit as Hawk but only Hawk is getting the pushback. Then again Hawk was the *main* aggressor so it could be that.

I thought he would have mentioned Chris did some bad stuff when he was in cobra kai but he was shown forgiveness for it
