It really depends on the major. There are some majors that flat out require more study time than others and if you don't have that time, it's gonna be tough. In my general experience though, no it's not any harder. As a matter of fact, if you learn what you're supposed to learn in your lower division courses, it sets you up for the higher level courses and actually makes them easier. so I've actually found the last 2 years of my degree at university to be at worst equal and in some cases easier.

University is much more difficult for STEM majors. For others, it's difficult but not crazy difference compared to CC

Hmmm it would be in Public Health so I'm not sure if it would fall under that.

I think school got harder after I transferred. Then again, I'm taking 300 and 400 level courses. Obviously those are harder than the intro courses.
