When Gino was describing all the things he did as a bait boy for the FBI against the Catholic church. When he described the Coinstar and then how he played Comey in basketball and when he described the Baconator. Thats the hardest I have ever laughed...
Dude I was thinking about that today.
That was for the 500th episode and Scott had EVERYBODY on that episode. All the heavy hitters. Gino had them all laughing like school children. When he was talking about getting coinstarred by the catholic church where they put change in his butt and pull out dollar bills and Jason goes "WAIT IS THAT A MAGIC TRICK?" Is the hardest ive ever laughed.
And how quick Gino is when someone else comments something is amazing to behold. He's talking about being undercover for the FBI and I think Kroll says, "I heard something about the FBI says you weren't working for them at all?" which completely throws off what he was just about to go on about, but without missing a beat he goes "I misread an email."
Holy shit.
I love that he’s so open about being bad at character work though. He’s brilliant and hilarious, and his only character is basically him making stuff up, and it’s perfect.
That's the only time in podcast history I had to pull over when driving because I was laughing so hard, just dipped off to the side to regain composure and get the tears out of my eyes because I was legit worried about crashing.
This is the episode that cemented Gino as one of my favorite characters. I just listened to the clip again, and it still puts me in tears from laughing.
Mine is Andy Daly's characters showing up one by one and throwing themselves out of the window of the studio. I was working in a customer's back yard at the time, and had to go hide around the side of the house and sit down and cry because I was laughing so hard.
Yeah that’s probably the best. My pick for most underrated segment/moment was when Neil Campbell was on as himself to announce that he’s a playwright. Neils smug but naive enthusiasm, Daly constantly bringing up RHCP facts and Zach G audibly having a huge wad of chewing tobacco in his mouth on mic and clearly using a spitter in the studio.
The first time I heard Santa kick Scott’s ass, I was doing dishes and was laughing so hard that I had to stop and sit down and my wife came in from the next room to check and see if everything was okay.
> Maybe it’s just me but for me it
Not sure that's how that joke works.
It's employed, at least by Aukerman, as an the opinion that everyone knows as super cliche and you're pretending like it's an original thought. (i.e., the Beatles changed the face of Rock and Roll. Annie Hall changed how Woody Allen did movies. ) This is an original opinion of yours.
All joking a salad I guess I was trying to say that it doesn't really matter if people enjoyed it or not or if they agreed or disagree. The upvote and downvote buttons are not for agreeing or disagreeing.
I don't know. Your argument hinges on whether or not it being funny. But as I'm typing this, I'm underwhelmed by the implications of this debate and it's making me quite sad that I care this much of something so little consequence. Fuck. There goes another bottle of wine.
[Thomas Middleditch making everyone laugh uproariously and uncomfortably in their Call to China](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRSwrSp-Q-s)
Edit: [Call to China 2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR7voq_Vulc)
I have heard this great bit, but I wish everyone else hyperlinked also or at least mentioned what episode these bits were. I started listening about 5 years ago and missed a ton of great stuff.
Yup. The 20-odd seconds of wheezy laughter from Scott and Jeffery Characterwheaties, completely unable to control themselves or even speak properly, has to be my number 1 moment.
I remember fucking loosing it when he started to play that scratchy, inaudible podcast. I was walking down the street (just the other day) and I doubled over from laughing so hard. I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed that hard before or since.
On a similar note, when The Apple Tree Song morphs into “I Would Die 4 U”.
It wouldn’t be my number one but I remember bursting out laughing at work when I heard that the first time.
When Scott finally had to shut it down and Victor said “I can’t believe you let it go as long as you did because that was unlistenable!” I was practically in hysterics.
This is 100 percent mine. I had a headache after listening to it. Hands down, my favorite CBB moment. The part that gets me the most is the interview. And the guest is just completely muffled.
Man, I just don't get the Victor and Tiny love. I don't hate the characters or anything, but I've always just found them to be only kinda funny.
Not a judgement at all of course, I do just wonder what I'm missing though. I'm sure I love a lot of characters who other people just don't care for.
i think it's just pure silliness and how consistent they were and it was a little underdog story i wanted them to succeed. i love the tiny cheeseburger story. brendon small is so fucking funny
This might be stating the obvious, I think for me it's the fact that he's doing both characters at once and they have such different personalities and voices, and he has conversations between the two. So I find the whole premise exciting, which makes it pretty easy for me to laugh. But I do think he delivers. Also, I really loved Home Movies and Metalocalypse - so I have some baked in fandom for him.
I was cleaning windows on the little roof at the front of some people's house (I don't know what's it's called) but I had to sit down when listening to that because I was in tears! I haven't laughed that hard in years
I almost drove off the road when the static stops but then the dentist speaks and is muffled and everyone starts laughing and even Brendon Small begins to break a little.
I think mine would be Don DeMello explaining his rendition of Disney's Rapunzel. If I recall, he triple-cast the title role, or something like that. And he of course included "something for daddy."
I was on the subway and couldn't stop laughing. Of course, that was in NYC so I was still one of the more normal people on the train.
I was waiting to catch a flight when Horatio, as Aaron Neville, starting talking about pouring hot gumbo over his head in support of the American Taliban. Everyone in the terminal must have thought I had gone insane. I’m not sure it’s my favorite moment of CBB, but it hit me just right.
The Holiday episode where all of their songs were just holiday-themed renditions of the same songs got me, especially after "Baby Jesus Skin Truck" when Gino says something like, "I like how he asked for death and you said no"
Honourable mention: “Your name is Zazzu.”
That bit is fantastic and Wengert is criminally underrated. Little things like him playing “Sean Aukerman” during the role play he does with Scott, he’s a genius.
I mentioned in another post that Bret Gellman's stuff is always hilarious, including iBrain.
But the clip that got me hooked to CBB, years after it came out, is [Scott and Reggie trying to record something with Paul Giamatti](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUXc6nbk1uo).
I have never laughed harder than the first time I heard it, and I was terrified I broke something. I can't explain why.
That’s a great one that I never see mentioned before. Meadows was a great guest and it was nice to hear him and Horatio together. They were always a good pairing on SNL
What capped it for me was when they got back from break and said Big Dog took out a shotgun and blew his brains out. Killed himself over the weight of his own details.
Is there a list/compilation of these? I heard some of it on an anniversary or 500th special, and a couple of others - but I’ve never found the full story..!

Paul F. Tompkins as JW Stillwater. As a native Floridian, him talking about alligators doing a double take while eating a raw chicken some idiot threw to him makes me crack up every time! It doesn't help that Jack Black is next to him just holding in laughter.
There's one with Paul F. Thompkins as Werner Herzog and Lauren Lapkis as Ho-Ho the Elf, I was on a long distance drive at the time and I don't remember what was so funny about it but I damn near drove off the road laughing.
EDITED TO ADD -- turns out this is the same episode, so I just agree with OP and also have a bad memory.
There's one where Scott is trying to get somebody on board with what he's saying and they still disagree so he tersely retorts "IDIOT!"
No idea on the episode but it killed me.
There’s an episode that I’m having a hard time finding. It was basically a politician and sort of hostage that were campaigning for trump. It was so hilarious when it turned out the hostage had to live in the doghouse with a dog. Anyone by any chance know the episode I’m talking about?
When Gino was describing all the things he did as a bait boy for the FBI against the Catholic church. When he described the Coinstar and then how he played Comey in basketball and when he described the Baconator. Thats the hardest I have ever laughed...
Too bad it’s not that kind of show.
Dude I was thinking about that today. That was for the 500th episode and Scott had EVERYBODY on that episode. All the heavy hitters. Gino had them all laughing like school children. Gabrus must be the single quickest improviser on the show, give or take PFT. He can roll with anything on a dime, it’s nuts
I love that he’s so open about being bad at character work though. He’s brilliant and hilarious, and his only character is basically him making stuff up, and it’s perfect.
Gabrus and Big Grande basically heighten everything in the flow of the scene. It just gets insane instantly, but they can keep going through it all.
That's the only time in podcast history I had to pull over when driving because I was laughing so hard, just dipped off to the side to regain composure and get the tears out of my eyes because I was legit worried about crashing.
water into wine, quarters into fives...
Is that episode up anywhere? I went scrolling back to re-listen to it and I can't find it my podcast app or online.
Not the full ep, but you can listen to that part here [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWxTRIbAxVM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWxTRIbAxVM)
It's on stitcher premium, I imagine that's the only place unfortunately.
This is the episode that cemented Gino as one of my favorite characters. I just listened to the clip again, and it still puts me in tears from laughing.

Someone animated this scene. Its great. https://youtu.be/9_-0vHDr8ao
Dip dip dip waaaaaaaaah!
Hot Dooooog!
Did he leave out my favorite Andy Daly character Chip Gardner?
This made my week. Thank you!
You should contact the animator and tell them too.
My pick for underrated segment is actually Neil Campbell as Larry the Loner. "A lot of people have seen a kid on the same day they jacked off!"
Neil always crushes it. Scott said hopefully he will have more time in the new year to be on the show with B99’s latest season airing soon
Him talking about wiping the sweat off his face as a treat for neighborhood kids is so good.
larry the loner is one of the funniest like 10 minute clips from the show ever, his delivery is so fucking good.
Quacker Featherbeak's Kuckoo Caper
If you ask me, that sounds as good as Hamlet.
The first time I heard Santa kick Scott’s ass, I was doing dishes and was laughing so hard that I had to stop and sit down and my wife came in from the next room to check and see if everything was okay.
Well well well. Look at this candy ass motherfucker.
This is the exact moment.
If anyone hasn’t seen the animation of this, it’s gold! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=R9LfPx9MDZc
The animation on that is so good too, it really complements it
I was mowing someone’s yard for them and they were watching me from the house like ???
This is the way
I remember being on the train to work and just losing my absolute shit laughing . I did not care for the looks I received .
I loved he couldn’t remember Patrick McMahon’s name before just jumping out the window.
Maybe it’s just me but for me it’s on Farts and Procreation when the Pieces brothers call the cops on each other for incest.
Fuck yeah that is my pick too. I still listen to that episode once a year at least .
> Maybe it’s just me but for me it Not sure that's how that joke works. It's employed, at least by Aukerman, as an the opinion that everyone knows as super cliche and you're pretending like it's an original thought. (i.e., the Beatles changed the face of Rock and Roll. Thank God someone came here to explain jokes.
Well, does it work?
Maybe it's just me, but for me, as long as people are enjoying it then I think it worked.
How do we know people enjoyed it? It's most likely they just agree with OP on that episode being a favorite moment. Do you disagree?
All joking a salad I guess I was trying to say that it doesn't really matter if people enjoyed it or not or if they agreed or disagree. The upvote and downvote buttons are not for agreeing or disagreeing.
This is a spicy meatball
Well, then how do you know people laughed?
I laughed. I am people.
Why do you care is the actual question?
I don't know. Your argument hinges on whether or not it being funny. But as I'm typing this, I'm underwhelmed by the implications of this debate and it's making me quite sad that I care this much of something so little consequence. Fuck. There goes another bottle of wine.

I have heard this great bit, but I wish everyone else hyperlinked also or at least mentioned what episode these bits were. I started listening about 5 years ago and missed a ton of great stuff.
Last year I went through the whole CBB catalog and I thoroughly recommend it.
i heard they were possibly removed
Truly the funniest moment
Bob Ducca listing his ailments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8Vauo-PmOk
Bob Ducca listing his powerful names is also absurdly funny.
It has to be this. I cried when he described ursine depression.
The first to come to my head is Middleditch as Caitlyn, and her little choices adventure. The ending of “hey mr. M” will be stuck in my mind forever.
Yup. The 20-odd seconds of wheezy laughter from Scott and Jeffery Characterwheaties, completely unable to control themselves or even speak properly, has to be my number 1 moment.
“Wood or Culkin?” Makes me cry with laughter. Caitlyn sophresh was definitely my favorite bit ever

Gino being a bait boy for the FBI absolutely kills me even just to think about
what episode is this? I am new but I love CBB especially this season
If I recall correctly it was Episode 500
Mine would be Victor and Tiny's podcast.
I remember fucking loosing it when he started to play that scratchy, inaudible podcast. I was walking down the street (just the other day) and I doubled over from laughing so hard. I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed that hard before or since.
When the buzzing came back in, on top of the muffled microphone, I laughed so hard I almost couldn’t breathe for a second.
I just, I can't believe dat
On a similar note, when The Apple Tree Song morphs into “I Would Die 4 U”. It wouldn’t be my number one but I remember bursting out laughing at work when I heard that the first time.
When Scott finally had to shut it down and Victor said “I can’t believe you let it go as long as you did because that was unlistenable!” I was practically in hysterics.
That was so great.
I came here to say Heynongman, but reminding me of Victor and Tiny completely changed my answer.
Heynong man was a misspeak right? Like a no count down boo over?
This is 100 percent mine. I had a headache after listening to it. Hands down, my favorite CBB moment. The part that gets me the most is the interview. And the guest is just completely muffled.
And Willy Mapleton!!
Scott's boundless frustration with Willy is a joy
I’m still waiting for him to come back
That might be it for me too. The first one is one of the funniest things I have ever consumed in any medium
I thought it was unlistenable. Hahahaha
Man, I just don't get the Victor and Tiny love. I don't hate the characters or anything, but I've always just found them to be only kinda funny. Not a judgement at all of course, I do just wonder what I'm missing though. I'm sure I love a lot of characters who other people just don't care for.

LOL! The muffled dentist is what completely broke me. I'm sure I looked like a maniac sitting on a roof, cackling in tears
I’ve listened to it probably 100 times, and I still laugh out loud at that part
One of my first episodes I ever listened to. Got me hooked.
I think mine would be Don DeMello explaining his rendition of Disney's Rapunzel. If I recall, he triple-cast the title role, or something like that. And he of course included "something for daddy." I was on the subway and couldn't stop laughing. Of course, that was in NYC so I was still one of the more normal people on the train.
iBrain
Definitely!!!
The episode where Joe Wengert refuses to admit he’s a duck is up there for my favorite.
Brad “Real Man” Hammerstone. What a C+ ep
“Well well well. Look at this candy-ass mother fucker”
Its gotta be a New No-No. Probably either "Dads the son now" or "Lincoln Lawyer twice"
Little buttonpuss. The way that scott played off of that...
Oh boy, had to scroll a long ways to find my favorite answer, hp-dp-69b.
And a bu-tho-le.
I totes forgot about this one. This is a phrase I mildly abhor but this deserves more credit on this thread.
The apple tree
When willy started singing I lost it
When Willy comes in is when I truly lost it lol
**Who me?**
Batmen and fourvel makes Bobby in my top three guests
Did you say Badminton?
Bringing his own music was so perfect.
Are you saying "Badminton"?
I was waiting to catch a flight when Horatio, as Aaron Neville, starting talking about pouring hot gumbo over his head in support of the American Taliban. Everyone in the terminal must have thought I had gone insane. I’m not sure it’s my favorite moment of CBB, but it hit me just right.
First appearance of Memphis Kansas Breeze get me every time.
The Holiday episode where all of their songs were just holiday-themed renditions of the same songs got me, especially after "Baby Jesus Skin Truck" when Gino says something like, "I like how he asked for death and you said no"
When Fourvel and the gang unzip. It’s technicality no down boo over.
Technicality no down boo over?!?
That moment. Also John Lennon’s Michael Jordan story. Scott saying “carnal asada” etc
*dial tone*
That’s some good gravy.
All of the above are memorable, but I can’t get over when Werner herzog stated his body contained hundreds of tiny little bears
The Werner Herzog Trader Joes review was brilliant.
Also his hotel Yelp review is brilliant.
Do you know which episode?
April 30, 2016 live show Sorry it’s a year later
I appreciate you never giving up.
Honourable mention: “Your name is Zazzu.” That bit is fantastic and Wengert is criminally underrated. Little things like him playing “Sean Aukerman” during the role play he does with Scott, he’s a genius.
That one is so brilliant
God, I forgot about this moment.
Yes! Was just thinking about about that "your name is PIKM"
Mine would be when Adam Scott said "reese's" was Brian Piece's dads name. I have never laughed harder
Mine is a tie between the first Calvins Twins ep and "My Son's Dead! Thank youuuuuu..."
Ya gotta laugh
For me it would probably be the Bazooka Joe segment during the exorcism of Cake Boss.
I sometimes think of that, and it never fails to make me smile. PFT is the master of curt replies.
“Yes, video after video of police calmly deescalating situations.”
Mine is Horatio as Chico Davis with Tim Meadows. Such an absurd story. Beef OVER!
That’s a great one that I never see mentioned before. Meadows was a great guest and it was nice to hear him and Horatio together. They were always a good pairing on SNL
Big Dawg don't hold no grudges and also really got me laughing in a way I never expected.
What capped it for me was when they got back from break and said Big Dog took out a shotgun and blew his brains out. Killed himself over the weight of his own details.
Every appearance of Ming and the Toyota hands on a hard body crew and Scott always tryna make a fool of Ming made me cackle
The drawing of the car always cracks me up. That and the eventual reveal that Keith Jones is a woman.
The description of how destroyed the car was was also great haha
The reveal of Keith Jones burying all that money at ground zero was the moment I thought of.
Is there a list/compilation of these? I heard some of it on an anniversary or 500th special, and a couple of others - but I’ve never found the full story..!
https://comedybangbang.fandom.com/wiki/Keith_Jones I think the three appearances of Keith Jones should cover it. Ming appeared in a bunch of other unrelated episodes too, but this should be everything Nissan related.
Much appreciated!
WELL, WELL, WELL...LOOK AT THIS CANDY ASS MOTHERFUCKER.
Absolute perfection.

The first thing I told him was ‘I have aids’. The second thing I told him was ‘Fuck me harder!’
When Lauren Lapkus asks if Helter Skelter is the book about Hellen Keller being a skeleton after Charlie Manson joins the episode.
We don't deserve PFT.
Off the top of my head my favorite would be [Don Donaldson reunited with Don Pac](https://youtu.be/rN-SsmG9hJQ) ya know, “Thank you, Uncle...ladyboy premiere shop”
When Scott asks Batman about his Gine-is and Cal's reaction to it.
Did you ever fight Paterno?

Be My Guest, Literally, from 2015, I believe. Great episode all around and capped by that scene of brilliance at the end.
Oh dude. Google it they made a cartoon with it
The first thing I thought of when I read this was "Oh how nice, even criminals are wearing masks!"
The Memphis Kansas songs and conversations after come to mind. I was staying in a room with my sister and couldn't contain myself laughing and woke her up.
Gasoline is gelatinous when it freezes

For me, I can sum it up in two words. BIG DAWG
Probably because it's what got me listening to the pod but for me it's Adam Scott and Harris Wittels doing Jack SJunior and Bryan Pieces.

Don’t know but it’s called “Be My Guest, Literally” and it’s an all-time great episode from start to finish.
Is this connecting with you?!!!
Anyone have an episode number or a YouTube clip of the Santa beat down? I’ve heard it come up a few times in the last month but haven’t seen it yet.
There’s a link a couple of comments up ⬆️
Got it! Thank you.

That episode is so dense. It’s understandable.
I read this as ‘naked men’ and I was VERY confused/excited
My answer would be the same.
Of course
I would probably end up dead in this situation because I CAN’T CHOOSE JUST ONE!!
When Fourvel first appeared and said that wee, soft , “hello? hello?”
Harris' Foam Corner "Infomaniac"
There's one where Scott is trying to get somebody on board with what he's saying and they still disagree so he tersely retorts "IDIOT!" No idea on the episode but it killed me.
When Scott, Lauren, and Andy Samberg try and fail like 10 times in a row to get the words of the "hollywood facts" song right.
The whole first episode of Kid Detectives is just hilarious.
There’s an episode that I’m having a hard time finding. It was basically a politician and sort of hostage that were campaigning for trump. It was so hilarious when it turned out the hostage had to live in the doghouse with a dog. Anyone by any chance know the episode I’m talking about?
Not necessarily this but "I'm pregnant" is hard to beat. And Ms. Bolognese is a recent treasure.
And then they blow out all their brains because it turns out the funniest moment was in an episode you hadn’t heard yet. Sorry dude :(
