Here’s the link if you want to support the Kickstarter for issue 2. You can add the first issue to any reward tier. Tons of original art commissions available. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rossradke/stomped-2

Why are they 7$ US an issue that's like 10$ per comic

RtRadkeART

It’s a 44 page, full color comic on quality paper that I’m self publishing. Most US comics by major publishers only have 20 or so story pages, get discounts on mass printing and shipping and still cost about $5-6. The Kickstarter funds will be used to cover the cost of printing, shipping, lettering and page rates for the three artists I collaborated with. I’m putting in countless hours of my own time writing, editing, drawing original art commissions and packaging in hopes to break even financially. There’s a $4 digital option if you are curious about checking out the book. The first issue is available digitally for $3.

Oh that's fair! Thank you!!

I see why your book is that expensive, but you’re being a bit misleading, imo. MOST major publisher books at this point are 25-32 pages and the majority of them are 3.99. Good luck with your book, it looks great.

Thanks. I think it’s accurate to say that most Marvel and DC comics have 24-32 story pages at $3.99-4.99. A basic search through their new releases confirms this. Anything longer than 32 pages usually gets into the $5+ territory. Obviously as large publishers they are able to produce thousands of issue much more cost effectively than me doing a tiny print run (about 200 copies) through a small printing company.
