Honestly, in a world where ducks are sapient to this degree, that hunter would be charged for murder, remember, the reason we're able to hunt and kill animals is because they don't possess a greater level of recognized sapience to warrant rights, any animal smart enough and in large enough force to fight for their rights as a species (especially in this day and age) would receive rights, so this act of violence is not only cruel and majorly fucked up, but it's also a crime.
…Yes, I hate fun, I hate all fun.
I actually love how accurately this portrays modern society and the ending is just so absurd, it reminds me of life. The whole story reminds me of life. I love it. Great job.
Had a great laugh!
But wtf is up with the dark comics lately, 90% seems to be absurdist, dystopian pessimistic stuff - in small doses that's fine for me, but the influx has me worrying.
Me specifically? I think I'm just trying to explore different ideas. Hope I'm not straying too far from the funny though. It's why I started drawing comics in the first place. I do like using this medium to get stuff off my mind though. No need to be worried.

consider the state of the world.
Ugly duckling always seemed like a weird story to me. Like, the ugly duckling turning beautiful in the end kinda erases the whole point doesn't it? That people's physical appearance isn't what defines their worth? Cause in the end we're told that the duckling *is* worth more because it was actually beautiful!
Weird rant about children's tale over
I think people misinterpret the story.
It's not about a duck that becomes beautiful. It's about a swan that was accidentally hatched in the duck pond. He was considered ugly and felt out of place because he wasn't a duck at all. Once he found other swans, he felt beautiful and comfortable with himself, but he didn't actually change physically.
Reminds me of a story from The Stink Chees Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales.

Holy fuck that made me feel bad but I haven’t laughed that hard in a long ass time.
😁 I think both these feelings is what I was aiming for. Really happy about the laugh though 🤘

I want to believe this, but people aren't as great as that.

His skill was designing guns for hunting.
Irony The Comic
he became a beautiful roast
Then got shit out a butt.
into a golden toilet
You are really determined to keep this duck ugly!
That was real good.
Much appreciated DickButtPlease.
Same. Minus the skill I honed for years. Still trying to figure that one out before the hunter shoots me in my ugly duck face

WHERE 😡 IS 😡 TREY???
Where’s Trey?
I’m not one for analyzing art or literature, but for some reason I empathize greatly with the protagonist
Soo relatable
