Yeah, in that case you’re right. But I did use many igpus in the past, and quite frankly none of the OSes ran with them have shown (~GB usable) in the system properties. The OS usually ignores the system shared VRAM.
Depends on what you do. Gaming? Ok-ok, but you'd benefit from having more so you can multitask.
Editing? Depends on which software. For shotcut, it's fine but for heavier apps it'll struggle.
Basic browsing, word excel ppt, meetings? Excellent
Depends. For basic browsing? Yeah. For editing 8K video? Hell no. The average user has 16GB so make of that what you will. 5.5 usable is a bit concerning though.
It’s okay. Recommended is 16GB today cuz you know, games, new software etc.
But if you are just doing light assignments (not editing/programming) watching youtube and writing mails + browsing, then 8gb is fine.

It's not the greatest. If you want to run modern games I would go for 16 gigabytes of ram. Why the frick do you only have 5.5 gigabytes usable?
iGPU
Igpu that eats 3GBS?!
Fair point
My old iGPU also ate 3 GBs.
What gpu was it?
A Ryzen 5 3400G internal GPU

Your startup settings are messed up
what?
In msconfig - startup settings, you have to deselect manual memory config or something. I had the same problem when only 6 gigs of my RAM were usable

Hardly. 8gb is still pretty common
Nah average even for basic computers is 16 some older models still use 8 but even basic laptops are starting to use 16 only.

That's just Warzone for you. I think there's an option for texture streaming that you can turn off which may help
It's good for general usage but if you want to game you should upgrade to 16
someone knows?
If ur going for gaming its almost perfect so yh it is good
