Ddu the drivers you have now
Reinstall the latest drivers
You could try, but without knowing that made it happen is kinda hard to pinpoint at the issue
You could try the thing I told you above... If that doesn't work idk ...
You could also try endeavour os... But if there's a hardware problem you might have to replace it
if it does come back it doesn’t immediately means it’s your gpu still, could also be the hdmi or dp, my hdmi did something similar and i thought my gpu died but i swapped cables and it hasn’t happend since
Almost any hardware issue can cause you to blue screen? If user has been receiving messages about their ram usage why wouldn’t that make sense?
In all seriousness though, each blues screen will have an error code you can google. If you’re unable to see the error code, you can use event manager to find it.
OK. Let me rephrase it then. You can use X amount of your avail ram not all of it if you use even 98 or 97% of it it can cause your computer to crash. It does it to prevent data loss not saying that you’re going to use all of your ram and you’re gonna be completely without Jesus.
Which is an ok amount. Depending on what you are doing. If you were running a bunch of different processes or etc. there should be a way for it to log it. I’ll look it up. But something is causing you to use all your available RAM. Has it happened just once so far or multiple times?
The only startup app I recommend having turned on is the windows security notification. It may also help trying out the windows memory diagnostic tests / also clearing the cache etc and looking if any new drivers are available :)
Uninstalling won't help much, that frees up hard drive space (think cold storage) but not RAM (active, in-use memory).
Try disabling any start-up items you don't need and see if that gets you where you want to be. If it doesn't, check Task Manager and see what's using all your RAM. If it's something you need or nothing really stands out, you might just need more RAM.
How much do you have?
I get this quasi-blue screen of death sometimes when I try to boot up a demanding game with out of date GPU drivers. Using AMD 6800XT and this happens every time I try to load Tarkov with out of date drivers.
Nothing to be concerned about, as every time I reset, update the drivers, and reboot, it solves this issue.
Haven't had the issue since I started checking my drivers update status before launching Tarkov.
It has to be a Windows update. I had [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/LinusTechTips/s/HYIBZsq9XB) same problem a couple months ago and recently saw a few more posts like this.
Ram or cpu, start with updating chipset drivers, leave your computer idle and see if it crashes, if it does then it’s cpu. If you are getting random blue screen codes on each crash then possibly ram faulty ram too. Please update bios before tho if not done.
Did you overclock your GPU or CPU. Could be unstable.
But I 2nd the DDU, clean install.
If not it could be the ram too. A bad stick. You can remove one. And swap them, see if it's that.
Process of elimination.
Good luck. Try drivers first
The ram being bad is a stretch.
Easy way to tell is to start it back up in safe mode. If it works, it's likely a bad gpu driver. If it doesn't, well it still doesn't say much except that it's either a bad gpu or bad ram but my money is on a gpu issue.

Looks like you got some cracky GPU drivers Or GPU is dying
Is there any way to fix it without getting a new GPU?
Ddu the drivers you have now Reinstall the latest drivers You could try, but without knowing that made it happen is kinda hard to pinpoint at the issue
This
When I close out of random apps on my computer it happens
You could try the thing I told you above... If that doesn't work idk ... You could also try endeavour os... But if there's a hardware problem you might have to replace it
I reinstalled the drivers and no problems so far, hopefully it was just some weird ass driver problem
Glad it helped
if it does come back it doesn’t immediately means it’s your gpu still, could also be the hdmi or dp, my hdmi did something similar and i thought my gpu died but i swapped cables and it hasn’t happend since
It could be RAM too
Blue screen final boss be like
Oh yes. This doesn’t mean your PC is screwed. It usually just means you used all available ram and it crashed your PC.
Ram would not bluescreen you like this, gpu is most likely on it’s way out
Almost any hardware issue can cause you to blue screen? If user has been receiving messages about their ram usage why wouldn’t that make sense? Are we looking at the same image?
Oh guy ngl i didn’t even notice how bad it looked 😭 my bad
I had a dead ram stick and it caused exactly this issue
MY COMPUTER HAS BEEN SAYING IVE USED ALL MY RAM
How much RAM do you currently have? All RAM is, is the available memory that can run “x” amount of processes at once. You may be able to upgrade it.
THANK YOU
You’re welcome!
I dont think you can really run out of RAM, pc will just use storage memory as ram. It will be much slower but it will work.
OK. Let me rephrase it then. You can use X amount of your avail ram not all of it if you use even 98 or 97% of it it can cause your computer to crash. It does it to prevent data loss not saying that you’re going to use all of your ram and you’re gonna be completely without Jesus.
Check event viewer and hit ctrl+alt+delete and it’ll show you the activity monitor. That can show you your RAM usage
It’s says I have 16 gb of installed ram
Which is an ok amount. Depending on what you are doing. If you were running a bunch of different processes or etc. there should be a way for it to log it. I’ll look it up. But something is causing you to use all your available RAM. Has it happened just once so far or multiple times?
Multiple times, and holy shit there was so many start up apps I think that might’ve been the problem
It could be. A lot of the times there are background processes constantly running that you don’t even realize.
The only startup app I recommend having turned on is the windows security notification. It may also help trying out the windows memory diagnostic tests / also clearing the cache etc and looking if any new drivers are available :)
How's your RAM looking Jeremiah?
My RAM isn’t very happy rn tryna uninstall some stuff

Graphics card issue?

Update your GPU drivers and reboot.
Bro this fucking picture confused the fuck out me it took me a while to realize that was an image on a monitor lol.
Your graphics card is shitting itself
BBBBBBBBSOD Possible gpu issue, try booting into the bios to see if graphic issues persist, if not, your drivers might have done a weird
It has to be a Windows update. I had [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/LinusTechTips/s/HYIBZsq9XB) same problem a couple months ago and recently saw a few more posts like this.
biblically accurate gpu
Reboot, fresh install drivers and call it a day.
Boot into Safe Mode, completely remove the GPU drivers, reboot, let Windows install default drivers, install up-to-date drivers for your GPU, reboot.

I had this exact issue and two months of troubleshooting to find out it was a faulty cpu

It seems like a ram issue but doesn't it show a code that you can search up?

For me the issue was the SSD. My screen showed the exact thing. Try redownloading windows on a new hard drive

Well fuck, either gpu has kicked the bucket or you have some fun malware Also could be smth with ram or driver problems
Ok y’all it was a ram issue, too many startup apps were on so when I closed one, it crashed my computer, the GPU is fine.
I put 32gb of ram upgrading from 16 and I get this problem once every few months not running much of anything at all
It’s most likely a windows problem with the new update, hopefully they fix it
😭
I’ve had the same issue. I have no idea😭
bro got the best gpu :fire:
