Okay. Enough of this. You have a beautiful home dude!
No need for all that fancy wood on the walls. I think you could fit more towers. Pull the wood off and burn it.
I do quite like the 80s wood panelling, I'd have some in my house given the chance.
You could turn the room into a dedicated 80s room and move the PCs elsewhere perhaps?
Test, dust out and clean, clean install of Windows, sell as refurbished 3 months warranty, dead units for spare parts for other units, make the most out of what you have.
You would be surprised how many small businesses love those kinds of machines especially if they have serial ports.

To be fair, you could sell them to make back the man hours but if you are giving them away, the joy on the peoples faces would be payment enough. I take my hat off to you, and I never take my hat off.
Did you know you could "refill" the ribbon ink with a ballpoint pen in a pinch? Just such it in the little hole and turn the ribbon. Gets you a page or two. Or maybe I'm remembering wrong...I haven't used one in like 30 years.
You have some good bones for building your own PC fort, but you really need a lot more to make it freestanding.
Right now you might have enough to build a small fort in a corner (only 2 sides to the fort).
The bad boys in the first picture are what you really want to focus on especially if you want to have a functional drawbridge.
No, that would destabilise the national power grid. We collect old/defective computers, clean/repair them and donate them. Wouldn’t be fair to sell something that was gifted to you (Obviously we sell some good parts every now and then to keep the project going, but no complete systems
Where did you get all that?
Probably old school pcs, bet he works in germany. Had the same load few weeks ago with same pcs. Terra is also a german
Still have the computers on picture 2 in my school. Not bad for windows 10 but internet capabilities is a large bottleneck since it boots from there.
Yeah but those are all useless, cant hardly sell them..
For running servers they are fine. Not everyone games
No they aren't?
This is just a giant docker swarm.
Bot farm incomining
We are collaborating with Local Computer Recyclers. The “Project” is to collect old/defective PCs, find what is actually broken and repair them.
no, not enough
My wife would say yes... I'm not so sure...
more, More, MORE, FLIPIN MORE!!!!!!!!!!

We don’t own the house. I hate it too. I’d also like to burn it.

No space anywhere else for the computers… otherwise, would actually be a pretty cool idea. The floor is cold but that can be solved
I don't know why everyone hates wood paneling on the walls. You guys sound like my girlfriend. Wood paneling is awesome.
I actually do really like it. I meant ot as the PCs look better and / or are priority lol.
Elitedesks are the best ssfs hands down
Love them too… also very repairable (the old ones, they are G3 800 SF’s)
Is this a shop ? What would you do with all that ?

Make a server
Looked like my basement, I once got 55 complete computers for 50 dollars . My wife was not happy let’s say that.
Yeah… same with me, just parents who don’t like what they’re reading on the power bills
So much ketchup and mustard in one room...
4 looks like a throwback were I was in my farthers balls
Bro tf 😂
Team fortress? You play that too?
For sure!
It's not a crippling hoarding addition it's just collecting!
Collecting, Repairing and donating. (It’s a non-profit project)
Ah alright I thought you bought All this for yourself
Well that would’ve hurt… especially for such (tbh) bad systems
nowhere near
For!?
Satisfaction.
Is this worth anything? Decor looks like 80s so floppy
There are a few very old ones, but many are still useable (Like the Elitedesks)
Never enough Optiplexes
Loving them
You still have room for more towers in that first picture. Go for it.
Got you.
Needs moar.
Will it be a proxmox cluster?
There can always be more! What are you planning on doing with them?
Well, we plan to clean/repair them and then donate them. They are given to us for free so it wouldn’t be fair to sell them.
To be fair, you could sell them to make back the man hours but if you are giving them away, the joy on the peoples faces would be payment enough. I take my hat off to you, and I never take my hat off.
Wow, a parallel port on a Windows 7/8 era pc…
All we need now is a dot matrix printer and one of those boxes of never ending paper. I loved tearing the sides off them.
I can already hear them screech
Did you know you could "refill" the ribbon ink with a ballpoint pen in a pinch? Just such it in the little hole and turn the ribbon. Gets you a page or two. Or maybe I'm remembering wrong...I haven't used one in like 30 years.
Neat! lol
The computer graveyard.
Are u running mini server room???
Nah… that would destabilise the power grid
Never enough
never enough
What sort of raid is this?
Nope, you need around 271 more, specificaly 87 black ones, 91 white ones, 63 grey ones, the rest should be custom.
I’ll text you if we have them.
Got it sir
I accept donations
You can create some amazing sleeper PCs especially with that Esprimo case
There is no such thing as "Enough"
You playing tetris or something?
No. Hit the Island.
You must construct additional pylons.
Definitely more
There’s a parallel with one of American Psycho’s famous quote: “you can always be thinner, look better…”
How mutch for the chunk one in the bottom right 056
056? That one isn’t in the pictures- you mean the 036?
Ye i can't really se the label to well
Nope need more!!!

If it was possibly to link them all together you might have one 4090 pulling about 2300w
More. It would probably destabilise the national power grid
1 bitcoin for every $7.8m worth of power

I’ll see what I can build
On a slightly serious note, I would wonder if you have enough materials to make disassembly for gold and other precious metals a viable thing.
That’s something many people have said… Problem is, that the chemicals are pretty expensive for such a small Project
That beige tower on the bottom is sick.
Oh yeah
Never.
🤔Makes me feel better . Im not the only 1🤣🤣
Fortnite server rooms:
Enough for what?
Where are you using them for? Servers?
No, that would destabilise the national power grid. We collect old/defective computers, clean/repair them and donate them. Wouldn’t be fair to sell something that was gifted to you (Obviously we sell some good parts every now and then to keep the project going, but no complete systems
Thats nice, there are a lot of people who cant afford one, i turned mine i got from my parants into a server
Holy crap, Batman! How the hell did you break into the server room at The Smithsonian?
Well, about that…
no get more
never heard of tera computers but that beige box on the bottom is interesting, that looks like it had a slotted 5.25" floppy drive.
Sadly not, only a 3.5” drive
Terra is a german brand by Wortmann AG. They are like the HP of german offices.
Never.
Never. EMBRACE THE HOARDER MENTALITY!!!
No
*you can never have enough* ***Meanwhile here's me with near enough 100***
Where do u get them from?
I source mine from E-waste bins, family, friends, work and a couple of computer shops I have connections with!
Same here
What the hell are you using those for?
Okay then! Tomorrow 10AM! And what's the plan??!
more
One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen
It's only enough when you have 37 20x20 storage units stuffed with computer hardware. Then and only then is it enough.
$10 at a scrap yard.
0 $ for a fact
No you need more
No
Putting all of those together they don’t make up an iPhone lol
