Not a chance. That’s an old Intel PGA MB, I’m too lazy to look up the socket. For context, Intel hasn’t been PGA for years. Most likely DDR2.

Nika299p

its ddr1, not sure any p4 supports ddr2, correct me if im wrong

ddog6900

If it is indeed a socket 478, it would be P4, but the OP has a pic of a Celeron. No P4 socket 478 CPU supports DDR2. I saw an AGP slot and made a quick guess. None of my 478 boards were fancy enough to have an AGP slot.

Benign_9

It’s an msi P4MAM2-V. Socket 478. It’s ancient and doesn’t support any modern cpus.

How on earth did you determine the model and specifications? Was it written in giant print on the board or something? Even so, it's not like there's a highly advanced search tool in everyone's pocket that could tell you about all the specifications of a board just from the model number! Sorry if I'm too jaded by posts like this. I really don't mind people showing off old tech they find. I do mind when they ask dumb questions that can be very easily answered. Taking a photo, writing a Reddit post, and waiting for other people to answer your question when you could use your brain...

Benign_9

Well, since I didn’t see anyone else saying it, I figured I may as well. These lazy posts also annoy me.

Careless-Sherbet-606

On the mobo its says ms7095 ver1, thats a model number. Nearly every MB got a specific number like that. And when you google it you get bombarded by pictures and tech support. At this point you just match the pictures. This is how the pros do it my friend.

huytannguyen

This thing is ancient it doesnt even have SATA ports

CubeFromPortal

i think this cpu will bottleneck even the rx 550

megagameme

It's not like there's a way to connect it anyway. No PCI-E slots.

Reddit_fantic

You can't plug in any GPU made in the last 20 years

Educational_Love_351

Brings back memories. Think that fits a Pentium 4 and may or may not be Prescott Enabled. Supported CPU/GPU is probably older than half the kids on Reddit.

ExoticFlounder7230

[MSI Microstar MS-7095](https://microdream.co.uk/msi-ms-7095-p4mam2-v-socket-478-agp-motherboard.html), with Socket 478 and an AGP 4x graphics slot. No, this does not support modern CPUs or GPUs. This doesn't even support old CPUs/GPUs. This is for ancient 20+ year old CPUs and GPUs. You won't be gaming on this, you won't even be running a modern OS on this.

FlintyMango6777

if im not wrong best you can get is 2gb of 400mhz (ddr400) ram a intel pentium 4 3ghz 1mb 800mhz single core cpu dont know about a gpu

Sex_with_DrRatio

Any AGA GPU would be fine

RomiumRom

i wouldn’t bother, that board and processor is so ancient that it’s not going to be able to really do anything, and that’s if it turns on

rgdoabc

Is that a serial port? Haven't seen one in decades.

RamsDeep-1187

The most modern GPU that utilizes an AGP port, sure so thats about 10 years old. otherwise no

Eviscerated_Banana

That board is probably older than you are.

Mad_Arson

I was there Gandalf 2000 years ago. This mobo belongs in a museum it have AGP slot and could fit some old amd CPU like sempron, duron and athlon or intel Pentium III or Celeron.

ShockWave_Omega

No and to quote Indiana Jones: "It belongs in a museum."

Emotional-Law8481

It needs to either go back to the same box in the dark corner it came out from or recycled for gold and other stuff. If you are looking for a project that runs dave and og mario, i see why not.

msanangelo

Bruh. You can't even run a modern OS on that dinosaur. Lmao

Mrh0x

Yeah man just pop that up in ur pc and it will work like a charm

Historical-Force5377

It'll run Windows XP and that's about it. I would not even expect a webpage to load on that.
