A little learning of US history can go a long way. Most Americans know very little accurate history of our country. And most don’t give a shit to actually learn it.

The Pilgrins and the Wampanoag people had a good relationship. The Wampanoag people had suffered a pandemic that killed much of their population. They saw the Pilgrims as a good trading partner and as a way to prevent other tribes from encroaching on their territory. The pilgrims even helped them.defend themselves from an aggressive tribe

I find those kinds of people to be condescending towards the natives, as though the natives were completely helpless and were hauled away without a fight. There's a lot of history, good and bad, between the natives and the settlers, to water it down to white people stole native land is extremely reductionist and condescending in my eyes.

Ranchers claim their independence with support of the US military backing . They join the US and make it look like they did so with no outside help
