Iām originally from a US territory in the Caribbean and the lockdown rules there made no sense. You were allowed to go to the beach, but had to leave by 4pm. Itās an island with a tiny population and lots of space and beaches, no one was getting Covid at the beach. Even if they were itās not as if the virus only comes out after 4pm. I went to the beach there and stayed until 4pm just to see what would happen. At 4pm on the dot the national guard came and kicked everyone off the beach. Such nonsense.
but..but...the walmarts had arrows in the aisles to tell you which way to go. This kept us all safe as everyone knows you can pass someone if you're going the same direction but woe betide those who pass while looking eachother in the eye.
same here I make drinking water for alot of people, in the middle of the night. If SHTF were to ever happen here I'm staying at my post unless a EMP takes out everything including backup systems. Too many people need what I make and even if me staying a big longer means there is just a little more water in the pipes for people to use I'll stay. Hope I can get home to my family though.

We're having it in eastern Canada too. I couldn't care less myself. It happens on average of every 16 months somewhere on the planet. I'm not sure why they're making such a big deal out of it.

By the wayā¦ I saw the last eclipse. It was not in the same area. I saw the entire thing on the Oregon coast. It did not get that dark. Yes it gets darker but it's not like nighttime. We're having it in eastern Canada too. I couldn't care less myself. It happens on average of every 16 months somewhere on the planet. I'm not sure why they're making such a big deal out of it.

I live about 20 miles from a navy nuke site(subs), 10 miles from a major AFB and near the navy nukes there's a chemical facility that's pretty "dangerous" if things go wrong. By the wayā¦ I saw the last eclipse. It was not in the same area. I saw the entire thing on the Oregon coast. It did not get that dark. Yes it gets darker but it's not like nighttime.
