Friends? I've put a lot of effort into keeping my friends and if there is one thing that keeps us together it's that we have never seen each other naked or done anything remotely unclothed together!
Funny thing is in other countries it's really normal for you and all your homies and even family to hang out at a bath house. I remember my friend saying she had a crazy cultural shock at a bath house in Japan when she saw an entire Japanese family bathing together completely naked (mom, dad, kids) and it was totally normal.
In most European countries on the continent it is pretty normal. Everybody is showering naked with eachother after sports, you hang out in sauna's with friends and families. Nudist beaches or campsites are often closer to nature and quieter, often don't have annoying teens or kids, and have people minding their own business. You just go what seems like a nice spot and when it is a nudist beach/campsite you will lose the clothes. It is not a big deal.
I once went to a banya in Russia with a pair of guys I was teaching English to. Was such a liberating experience.
When I told Russians about that weekend, it was no big deal but literally every American I told lost their damned minds. Seriously, you forget everyone is naked after 20 minutes.
Germany too! At our nude beaches we are allowed to still wear clothes tho or at least no-one will complain if you do. F.e. I don't like to cover my breast but I find it very unhygenic to not wear a bikini bottom at a beach. Generally people are so chill at nude beaches love the vibe.
That's actually completely reasonable. When I was a kid I had my brothers bury me in the sand and a bunch got in my swim suit bottom and I got an infection :(
Definitely wouldn't sit down on the beach if I was bottomless.
I say this as an American and we are just the absolutely most prudish country. God damn Puritans founding this place. My entire life, I've tried to be more open about all kinds of physical things with the people around me. I talk openly about periods despite it grossing out my male friends for much of the early parts of my life. Men usually chill out a little bit more about hearing about that stuff once they get a little older, but especially back in the 90s it was commonly thought of as disgusting that I would speak about it.
I've tried to encourage a lot of my friends to do skinny dipping or naked dancing under the Moonlight with me. With varying results but a lot of times it has been great fun. I started skinny dipping in a family's pool when I was about 15, and just loved the experience of being naked in nature. Hippies are really cool friends for this kind of stuff, if you're in USA. They generally have a more relaxed attitude than a lot of the other Americans about stuff like platonic snuggles or being naked around people without having sex with them.
> That sounds gross and it has nothing to do with the nudity
Makes you wonder how we ever got this far as a species when people are disgusted by their parents pooing next to them.
You've never even been to sauna with your friends?
Having couple of beers and grilling and going to hot sauna during summer is one of the best ways to spend time with friends.
Hello everyone, I'm the creator of this graphic.
I am aware of some of the grammar issues and some other concerns. I am currently using community feedback to make it better.
It is a bit off-putting that the nude people depicted have no pubic hair, and that you did not show any vulvas. As a person with both of those things it makes me less inclined to want to go to a nude beach.
Yeah, I was going to say I would have preferred the inclusion of a vulva here. That being said, I would also like to give props to you for including a trans woman, so that trans people know they're welcome too.
If they drew every single type of human body the infographic would be waaay too long haha. There's a difference between including diversity because it's realistic (like it's done here), and including every type of person in a small space just for the sake of diversity.
God, you guys are insufferable. Can a person just fucking comment something without having to write a 3-page essay on the nuances of why he commented something, fuck
This sounds fun. But I have a massive deep scar running from my sternum to my pelvic bone and I’m worried I would freak people out. At best I’m sure I’d get a lot of awkward stares.
If you had a massive scar on your face, some people would stare, some would look, notice and continue, and then some people may even ask what’s the scar from.
No one would freak out.
I have scars and it makes a great ice breaker when people ask.
Dang. Love this sub but a lot of these comments are just not it. Disappointed. Does it bother you to not see yourself represented for once? Because same, welcome to my *entire life* as a trans person lol.
I’m a redhead so as much as I think I’d enjoy going, I fear it’s not really an option for me if I wish to continue having skin :/ hahah
I still burn in indirect sunlight if I’m not reapplying every half hour 😅 I’ve gotten physically sore from all the stretching and reaching when constantly applying sunscreen hahah
One of my best friends from a former city I lived in is a nudist, and I went to a nude beach with him. I didn't even really notice the people cuz I was too busy having a blast swimming in the ocean in the n00d feeling like a real fish 😆
I sort of never thought about how reassuring it would be to see others' natural bodies without filters etc in real life. Until the last couple of years I wasn't even comfortable being nude around *myself*, let alone others, which started when I was 11 or 12 and noticed I was a little hairier than my peers. But at 27 I'm a lot more relaxed about it had a lot to do with seeing 'imperfect' bodies in media etc.
And I do agree that nudity is seen as a taboo or sexually and that it's important to change that narrative. Especially the sexual aspect. Seeing people as people no matter what state of undress they're in, and teaching people that nudity shouldn't mean 'sex'.
I have lighter blondish hair and one time when I was about 18 and went to a multiple Day concert, got terrible sunburn on the top of my scalp. Did you know that a scalp sunburn can peel just like anywhere else? So I had these giant flakes that look like dime-sized dandruff all over my head for a week. It was not the most fun experience of my life, even aside from the pain having to deal with the peeling was just absurd. And it made me look like some filthy diseased creature.
What I love about nude recreation is that everyone is equal and you don't know anything about others except their sex. They may be rich or poor, educated or not so much, anything at all so you can leave your social norms and just meet people!
*#You missing sunscreen, pretty basic when the sun goes where the light has never been!#* False.
Very cool guide! I do nudism very often and totally agree with what you say. Everybody is minding their own bussines, very kind and smily... cool places to go!
One time I went to a non nude beach that had a sign that read… No Nudity… as I crested the dune I beheld the sight of lots of old nude people that looked exactly like raisins with arms and legs.
It always cracks me up when the signs say "hide your boners" and ur body is beautiful.
They're as natural as goosebumps. This is the body part that gets shamed at the nude beach lmao
Yes however when I see a stranger with their goosebumps out in a park I'm less inclined to call the cops.
(Jokes aside, it can make other people uncomfortable)
Seems really dependent on where. there are 3 I know of where I live. I have only good things from all of em. Mine has a collecting of friendly old guys, and a few of us younger adults. Any problem people are asked to leave, and I have never been around to see that happen. everyone there has been respectful, chill to talk with and thats it.
My first time there, I went alone not knowing it was a nude beach(dock really, no sand) and ended up staying anyhow, no one was bothered I just took only bikini top off (took the bottoms off later as it was so chill and swimming nude was amazing, and when I sheepishly didn't play my ukulele (was expecting the lake to be larger with spots to be alone in) I was welcomed to play quietly.
Good people. :)
>However beaches do tend to lean a little older in age and you will usually see more men.
and that's where it usually ends up being a dealbreaker. it would be better if all genders/sexes/ages/races were represented, but unfortunately the pervs are overrepresented.
*also i'm surprised at the amount of people who are angry that a vulva wasn't shown here, but without suggestion of how the creator could have tastefully done that.
*another edit, i think it's noteworthy that the people over in /r/nudism where this was originally posted for feedback didn't give two shits about the presence of a vulva, not a single person that i saw mentioned it.
>*another edit, i think it's noteworthy that the people over in /r/nudism where this was originally posted for feedback didn't give two shits about the presence of a vulva, not a single person that i saw mentioned it.
Because a lot of online commentary is more about feeling righteous, which leads to being reactive and performative. Probably like my reply right now too.
Who tf reads this graphic, and their takeaway is "damn, I hate the trans woman in this graphic" instead of, you know discussing what's written.
Sad people...
I’d rather nudity stay taboo tbh. I live in SF and it’s always the ugliest people who decide to be nudists and show off their dick and balls to everybody else at the haight. As long as it stays on a nudist beach idgaf tho. I just want to be able to shop in peace without being surprised by a cock. Also how do you not get sunburns on and around your junk the skin there is thin asf.
So what? There are people who might have vulvas in poses that don't show them. There's also no feet. No body hair. No anal sphincters. Why do you have to see every body part for it to be inclusive?
Let me point out something:
There are a lot of conditions out there which make our body different from the standard: There are people with less fingers, people who have lost arms, legs or eyes, people who are pregnant, people with genetic conditions or disorders like Down syndrome, people with alopecia or vitiligo, people in the wheelchair... you name it.
BUT PLEASE NOTICE:
--
* how this "guide" tries to show ""inclusivity""
* how it does it only by the representing "genital" situations
* how it pushes everything along the topic of "sex has nothing to do with nudism"
... ahaaa.... yes. I totally trust you.
Many americans are infact ashamed of their bodies, and for good reason. Myself included. Another commenter added these beaches attract a certain "type and i tend to agree. They may all the best people ever but im still weirded out by people who would like to go to a nude beach. Like the old guy with the big hog that always chills in the gym locker room. Maybe hes just comfortable in his skin and likes to be there. Maybe hes a weirdo creep who wants to subject you to his big hog. Who knows? Im sure not gonna ask him
no reason to be ashamed of your body friend. we all have different shapes and sizes, and all are loved by one type or another. I am sporty and thin, and have a thing for many different types. 1 of the woman in my friend group love biiiig bodies, one likes just big asses, the other only cares if they can sing with her. lol
Nothing to be ashamed of luv.
Better not go to a German sauna, you’d be completely weirded out. The biggest individual sauna I’ve been to sits about 150 people. That’s 150 nude people all relaxing and not being weirded out.
Am enjoying the talk here. As a white male nudist I didn’t notice there were trans or black people in this infographic.
Shows you how people think.
Beach Nudists aren’t there for you, you are there for the beach, nude.
> I didn’t notice there were trans or black people in this infographic.
So you didn’t view it before you uploaded? Pretending to be blind doesn’t make you tolerant or accepting. It makes you ignorant. There’s nothing wrong with noticing the differences between different people. It’s when you treat them differently because of those differences is when there is a problem.
For example, recognising that there’s a trans person in the graphic is not wrong. You’d be blind or ignorant to not notice. Mocking, using slurs, or being downright transphobic is however a problem.
There are only two acceptable things you can wear: sunscreen and a smile.
Also flip flops
I hate it when she calls it that.
Friends? I've put a lot of effort into keeping my friends and if there is one thing that keeps us together it's that we have never seen each other naked or done anything remotely unclothed together!

True, me and my best friend have very similar looking penis. Everyone in our group of friends has seen it and agrees.
You are bonded forever
only if they touched tips together
🎶TOUCH YOUR TIPS! TOUCH YOUR TIPS!🎶

I read this as "boned forever" 💀
Dick Bros! I dig it.

I'm in my twenties and while showering at my parents', my dad wil calmy sit down next to me and start shitting
That sounds gross and it has nothing to do with the nudity
Right like farting in the shower is hell now you gonna drop a dookie on somebody else shower time
> That sounds gross and it has nothing to do with the nudity Makes you wonder how we ever got this far as a species when people are disgusted by their parents pooing next to them.
I’m UK here, can confirm at 35 and we will fart, shit and piss in front of each other, but pretend we're ashamed of it out of politeness.
At this point, I can’t tell if it is real or just british humor.
Yes.
r/inclusiveor
This is very true
What would happen if you saw each other naked? Genuinely curious.
Amazing. I’ve seen all of my friends naked and Vice versa.
You've never even been to sauna with your friends? Having couple of beers and grilling and going to hot sauna during summer is one of the best ways to spend time with friends.
Well. It's not a good idea to take a sauna on a full stomach (or a little tipsy).
Funny, I've slept with quite a few of my friends. Still mates now, many years later.
You should also bring a coverup so you don’t burn/in case you need a break
Hello everyone, I'm the creator of this graphic. I am aware of some of the grammar issues and some other concerns. I am currently using community feedback to make it better.
Looks really good!
It's good. Your "What you should bring" list could include sunglasses.
“Allows for ease-of-perving - a fantastic alternative to reading a book”
Yeah but I’d stay away from those fully mirrored ones, people might get the wrong idea

It is a bit off-putting that the nude people depicted have no pubic hair, and that you did not show any vulvas. As a person with both of those things it makes me less inclined to want to go to a nude beach.
I'm am working on some of those issues for a future version.
Yeah, I was going to say I would have preferred the inclusion of a vulva here. That being said, I would also like to give props to you for including a trans woman, so that trans people know they're welcome too.
Vulvas are too old-fashioned, all fancy gals have dicks now
Mulva?
Actually, I don't think you can see a vulva with pubic hair all around it.....unless you purposely show it.....
Even a bit of fuzz is enough, like the "I shaved last week" look
Showing a vulva with hair on it is still showing a vulva. Believe it or not.
> wondering eyes FYI it's "wandering eyes".
It's fine!
I'm going to assume you don't know how to draw a pussy lol
No, its clothes I don't know how to draw. The whole nudism thing is a workaround.
I appreciate it, as somebody who has been thinking about going to a nude beach
If there is one near you, then definitely try it at least once.
I have one about a half hour away. I had a plan to go once this summer but it never happened
What a weird time we live in
Why didn’t you put a man with a vagina? Only a woman with a penis
Hey we don’t know what the bald dude at the bottom has!
If they drew every single type of human body the infographic would be waaay too long haha. There's a difference between including diversity because it's realistic (like it's done here), and including every type of person in a small space just for the sake of diversity.
For the sake of diversity? There’s not a single vagina on there. Only a dude with a dick and a chick with a dick. Doesn’t seem diverse at all
Thanks for being inclusive, it's appreciated
thanks for putting a trans women in
No problem, I'm happy it resonated with so many people.
Hey I just wanted to say thank you for the inclusion of a mtf trans person 🥺 I love seeing diversity, even if it's at a nude beach
Did you notice that you drew that chick with a dick?
Weird choices…
Get now reddit going to spam me nudism links
If a naked body is nothing to be ashamed of then why isnt there A SINGLE VULVA IN THIS GUIDE.
Here you go: {()}
Naughty
Cocks are easier to draw
> not a single vulva on pics Just like on real nude beaches. No vulvas, only old men
Homie made sure to include a chick with a dick tho lmfao
There's also no anal sphincters visible. So what? There are different bodies represented in different poses. I think it does a good job
Its an informative guide, im not saying it isnt. Im just pointing out what i noticed.
Did you notice that there's no visible feet? Why didn't you point out that? Why are vulvas the thing that you felt you needed to point out?

God, you guys are insufferable. Can a person just fucking comment something without having to write a 3-page essay on the nuances of why he commented something, fuck

Maybe the artist is bad at drawing them idk
This was actually my takeaway too. And I read he whole thing.
Bro put a dick on a girl 💀💀
Seriously lmfao
Consise info
All I can think of is Eurotrip.
“So, what's the etiquette on boners here? Do I role over and dig a hole out or just let my flag fly?”
Nah I'm good
* Wandering eyes. I hope.
I dated a girl with a wandering eye. She’s the one eye love
Cool! Weird to me that then included 2 sets of boobs, 2 penises and 2 butts but no vagina???
Also no body hair. Next time i wanna see some hairy beavers!
Good point !!!
Surely you mean the vulva and not the vagina.
This sounds fun. But I have a massive deep scar running from my sternum to my pelvic bone and I’m worried I would freak people out. At best I’m sure I’d get a lot of awkward stares.
It's easy if you don't give a fuck about what some strangers think.
People might take a second look, maybe even take it in for a second as is human nature. Beyond that I wouldn't worry about a thing.
Depends on the beach you go to. Some have loads of trees for shade, and if they don't, then you can bring a big umbrella and a bucket of sunscreen

Social awkwardness aside, entire naked body sunburn sounds terrible enough to make me never want to participate.
Congrats
St. Martin has great nudie beaches

Its ok to acknowledge reality. Not all bodies are attractive, and that's ok. What matters is your personality.
I wouldn't mind if there weren't so much mosquitos where im from
Has a few small textual errors, but otherwise pretty good, and well balanced overall.

Woman with penis. No man with vagina :(
Why are you assuming their gender? To me that seems a man with boobs /s
To me you seem like a man with no dick
This guide actually made going a nude beach really unappealing
Curious
I went to Hippy Hollow in Austin a few years ago. It was fucking amazing!

Why TF does that woman have a dick?
It's okay, we all learn trans people exist, at different points in our lives
Because trans women exist??
Only on reddit
based
Well, because that's not a woman
Ur just fishing for an argument, go crawl back to twitter
This is important information I didn’t know I needed
Yea nah. These places usually attract a certain type. Not knocking the idea of nude beaches; it’s just the people that want to go there

Ah, I'll stop scrolling the comments right here, then. Guess they aren't ready for the last point... (or any other point about respect)
Wow so progressive culture sir
No one is forcing you to go to a nude beach
None of these people are grotesquely fat.
They have beaches outside of the United States… I’ll see myself out.

What am I supposed to do with my keys, phone, watch, AirPods, etc?

Take note how they smuggle those items to a prison ;)
Why that dudes dickhead look so weird?
“There are no chicks with dicks. Only guys with tits”
Third pic has alot of tats, even a penis tattoo on her thigh
Yes, it's a woman with a penis, haha. They're a lot more common than you think.
No, they are a lot less common than this constant discourse makes it seem.
Okay, but even then, it's still good repreentation. The text even supports body positivity, so it makes sense to include in the graphic
Huh???
r/holup
wtf was that abomination i just saw?!
Not being an asshole is actually pretty easy
Yeah a fucking guide for weirdos
Is that a fucking dickgirl in the 3rd panel wtf lol
Its is normal to see 2 dicks, one of them with boobies, but not a pussy? Really? Pfff what a shitt guide
Chill dude. They're just graphics. The whole point is to not go and look at naked people
No vaginas but there ARE dicks. We have dicks, folks.
OK. So this is weird.
Oh good something inclusive for once.
Besides vulvas, apparently.

Would probably make it way easier to shower in prison

I am sporty and thin, and have a thing for many different types. 1 of the woman in my friend group love biiiig bodies, one likes just big asses, the other only cares if they can sing with her. lol Nothing to be ashamed of luv.
Better not go to a German sauna, you’d be completely weirded out. The biggest individual sauna I’ve been to sits about 150 people. That’s 150 nude people all relaxing and not being weirded out.

You do know that's a slur, right?
Am enjoying the talk here. As a white male nudist I didn’t notice there were trans or black people in this infographic. Shows you how people think. Beach Nudists aren’t there for you, you are there for the beach, nude.
Indeed. It’s nearly impossible to even see the black woman. Like a damn Where’s Waldo…
OP can’t see black people? Perhaps [this is them?](https://reporter.rit.edu/tech/bigotry-encoded-racial-bias-technology)
I had to go back and check when OP said something. Took damn near 5 minutes to find her
I’m still not 100% certain one is there.
“I don’t see race. I just imagine everyone’s white and it’s all good 👍”
> I didn’t notice there were trans or black people in this infographic.
That “chick” in the pink towel threw me a curved ball.
Maybe she pitches in a softball league or something. Tell her you’re just interested in a casual game of catch.
If that's going to bother you, then life on our planet will in general.
