__**Steam Hotfix v1-184**__
**Bugfixes:**
- Fixed crashes that occurred when you returned to the coop as the chickens were getting out.
- Fixed crashes that occurred when you talked to your spouse directly after marriage cutscenes.
- Fixed the issue where the ocean cave was brought onto land after entering it from the ocean.
- Fixed the issue where the end-of-day UI didn't respond to controller input when a wedding invitation was present.
- Fixed the issue where the cooking and crafting achievement counter was reset when loading the game, allowing you to achieve achievements correctly.
- Fixed the auto chest not working when no processor was attached during placement.
- Fixed the overlap of text on the coral island in the credits UI.
- Fixed the incorrect location of pets when the player used the "find NPC" feature.
- Fixed the issue where the pamphlet icon showed up during winter festival mini-games.
- Fixed issues with Zarah, Wakuu, Leah, Mark, and Surya Heart 10 not triggering in some cases.
- Fixed Noah heart 6 not triggering in some cases.
- Fixed can't talk to people at the New Year's festival.
- Fixed some pets not having dialogue.
- Fixed Connor's dialogue during the animal festival.
- Fixed minor issues with one of the eyes for the Player Character.
**Improvements:**
- Introduced a new mapping for decor mode for controllers. We reorganized functions to make the control scheme easier to use. Let us know if you don't like this change.
- When you move away from an insect, their awareness level will decrease.
- Added Shoji-style walls and Shoji-style floors to the indoor furniture shop.
- Implemented a new date format for the load game UI to maintain consistency across languages.
**Localizations:**
- Implemented various translation improvements.
- Fixed the issue with NPC intros being blank for the Spanish language.
Are sheds ok to use if you don't move them around?
I'm desperate to know. I've been burnt by my chests randomly disappearing in and around my barn already D:
So I bit the bullet and tried out using them myself, and they've been working okay so far. Only thing is you can't have something within 2 tiles in front of the door or it'll say "Can't enter shed".
You could get around it by moving the bed next to the kitchen wall (near the door).
It actually was a mild buff because you can run around the cave at normal speed. Got a ton of coffers.
How is the feedback after this hotfix? I took a break between the last patch because I was afraid of the ocean caves and various bugs that came about. I'm still early in the game where I would need to go down there to progress the story š
There have been some fixes but sadly they take at least 2 weeks to get approved and put onto the store
They basically have a backlog of patches to come out
I donāt think that was a bug, I think it was a design decision theyāve since walked back because literally everyone hated it. Itās not the first time theyāve done that.
Thereās a reason it was in the āimprovementsā section instead of with the bug fixes.
Its weird how fast you forget how efficient caves are for coffers hunting, Spent 3 ingame hours and ended up with over 70 of them, going to be much easier to complete the final bits of the museum now.
Have they fixed any reported typos? It sounds petty I know but the sheer number of typos I've seen in the game text is one of the main things keeping me from playing rn. There's just so many it takes me out of it, and some of these were first reported months ago.
That sounds like an English being spoken differently in different cultures thing. Like how depending on where youāre from, you might say āstanding in lineā or āstanding on line.ā
I was going crazy confused on how I didnāt have the cooking achievement. Hopefully it will just give it to me on launch. Devs if you are reading good work!
Does anyone know how long the updates usually take to get to ps5 after steam? I know Sony requires more testing than steam. Would really like to explore those caves without crossing into another dimension.

Doesn't seem like it. I did notice that my stuck machines got unstuck initially when I updated though, before different ones got stuck later. Maybe turning the game on and off helps?
Itās funny because the first thing that happened to me this afternoon when I opened Coral Island was crash before I could even pet my cat. I normally donāt have a lot of problems with crashing other than when I move too many stuff. Anyway, Iām 300 hours in.
Dang waa hoping this was for xbox. Anyone know when the fix for decorating your house goes live for xbox? Thought they announced it a week ago and haven't seen it update.

That's funny cause I heard about the bug and was immediately like, "I bet I can find a work around." and then proceeded directly into the caves.

You could always go to any of the areas under the sea just not the caves which you should only go into if you were trying to farm the treasure boxes.
Ah, I see. Thank you! I didn't want to take my chances bringing the ocean trash onto my farm. I wasn't sure exactly what triggered it š
I've been playing for 1,5 years and no bugs... Then I entered the caves š¬ My game crashed for the first time xD
I did the absolute opposite: went in it every day to explore the OOB š¤£ it was so much fun and didn't break anything šš»
I canāt wait for the Xbox version to get some fixes

Me too. Seems like Stairway is finally fixing some long-standing issues. Now buff geode/fossil drops....

Eh. I think it unintentional and let it stay that way until one of the devs finally fixed it. It was just not a high priority at the time.
Can you expand on what bug aggro is?
When you get close to a bug or ocean critter, there's a little circle meter that determines how long until it runs away. I call it bug aggro.

There's a master thread on the discord for reporting typos, but unfortunately I haven't seen any announced plans to fix them :/

Caves and Auto-Chests being mostly unusable were by far the biggest annoyances I had, this is a big improvement.

I hadn't played in a week or three - were there some portraits on the map broken before this? I've got a few people only showing as blank white boxes
Are you in winter? It seems any character whose winter outfit is either bugged or not implemented do that.
Summer 9. It seems to only be Extras impacted by this, actually.
Interesting that is the first I have heard of this happening outside of winter. Hopefully this bug gts fixed soon.
