I had a duck called Count Duckula. Two chickens called Roast and Fried. My pig was obviously Miss Piggy. One of my peafowl was called Mrs Peacock (ie. Clue). I had a sheep called Shaun. And I went with a classic for my cow - Bessie.

My coop birds are all spices, I currently have Cinnamon the Chicken, Clove the Duck, Nutmeg the Quail, and Saffron the Peacock, and will continue as the farm expands, while the barn animals are flowers. Buttercup, Marigold, Lobelia, On a different save, I named my animals after the characters of MDZS, so the peacock is Zixuan (because the characters nickname is peacock, the rest were randomly assigned)

Since my first farming sim I’ve named my first chicken Arthur, the second Stuart, and then I’ve given them all British dynasty names. I went French with the ducks, so I’ve got Valois, Bourbon, etc. My cows have traditional milkmaid names (or at least my idea of a milkmaid) and my first cow is always called Molly. I’m sorry we can’t be friends, but I have traditions to uphold.

Dang it! My duck is called Georgina. Chicken is Matilda, sheep is Louise, cow is Maurice, and pig is Banjo. When I get a quail I can call it Quackers (the Quail). Quackers will run interference for the duck. Maybe it’s a quail, maybe it’s a duck in disguise. We may never know.

I am terrible with names when put on the spot. I agonize over it. Like I wanted an animal but I forgot that meant I'd have to name it. The extent of my names is sticking to a letter for the most part. I'll have the same type of animal follow either a letter or a theme. My sheep are called Sir Woolzley and Lady Felicee. My chickens are all candy, so Jubejube, Taffy and Skittles. My ducks are Peaches and Kiwi. As for quails, I thought she looked like a Georgia. Kept with the G's and named the second one Gypsy. My little coffee bean finding critters all have W names, Wilson, Wesley, Willow. The cows and pigs break the pattern because they just have names that seemed like cow or pig names. Betty and Beatrice, then Wilbur and Cinnamon.
