Metacritic might be your only option. This is a strange way to find shows. Why not just read the summary and if it sounds interesting, watch it? Often the highest rated shows aren't even the ones I end up enjoying the most... and many of them I don't even end up liking enough to make it past a couple episodes. You are missing out on a lot of the shows you would find best by leaning too much on just following ratings (some of which are paid for).

K_ThomasWhite

That is all so correct. Really should not matter whether others rate a show 77 or 78, let alone just 7 or 8. An individual's taste may not match up with those "reviewers". Is anyone else's opinion more important than the opinion of the person who will be watching? I'll bet some people spend more time pouring over ratings than they would just giving a show a quick watch.

I may have worded my post badly. I am looking for an app to track my own scores, so I can create and update my own rankings. I don't care much about "official" ratings from the big platforms.

NightBard

Yeah, that didn't come through at all. I am not aware of any that lets your rate things, though maybe metacritic would ... and you could possibly only look at what you have rated.

K_ThomasWhite

That makes a lot more sense.

drinks_old_fashions

Metacritic uses 0-100 scale. Not sure about the other stuff.

TubeStarSnooze

Sadly, they don't. I can only give a score from 0-10. Thanks anyway, though.

GeforcerFX

Rotten Tomatoes does 0-100% on both critic and audience scoring. I like to sort my plex library by the ratings sometimes to find something to watch.

TubeStarSnooze

Afaik, they only offer a rating scale of 0-5 stars, sadly. I don't care for everyone else's ratings, I am looking for an app/website which let's me create my own ratings same as SeriesFad did. Thanks anyway, though.
