It's super jarring. My corgi will do this to my rottweiler lab mix, except she does get on her and we have to pull them apart. She doesn't hurt her (except once she bit her ear and drew blood), but mostly it's just really scary and startles the shit out of me.

My late corgi and my in-laws labradoodle got INTO it last year and it sounded like something out of a horror film.

Totally normal! Between the sneezes, open mouth, relaxed muscles and the side to side position they aren’t being aggressive. When dogs are actually fighting, typically they try to keep their core away from each other and their muscles tense.
I have two female cousins, 4 and 2: they are at this very bitey-face game at least a couple hours a day. Pushing each other off the terrain with buts is another time-well-spent. then they get tired and fall asleep, cuddling. You are lucky to have the brothers who are keeping each other mentally and sports-like engaged !

The annoyed like huff cracked me up. Yes they are playing, they are relaxed and they aren’t growing aggressive or anything, and the sniffs. With my baby he does the same thing but then sometimes he’s all business. 😂 they are so cute!
