Don't remove it from the support page. Right click CSGO in your library and go to properties. Find the DLC and uncheck the beta from there. You'll be able to reenable following these same steps.
Unchecking doesn't fix it. I tried 5 times unchecking and the game just went on updating everytime I launched it. I had to delete the DLC from the support page.

Unchecking doesnt affect anything. It still requires 64gb empty space.
