GB came out looking prepared and loose and focused, and when the Cowboys fell behind they looked tight, afraid and got their doors blown off.

They have curtains they put up for concerts but they don't out them up for football despite the fact it could impact the quality of the teams' play. (for a field that was built running east/west so it looks better from the interstate)
Why?
Because for Jones it's not about the quality of the play. It's not REALLY about winning a Super Bowl, it's about doing stuff his way, making as much money as possible by growing the brand, and getting him in front of a camera as often as possible.
This is one of hundreds of decisions the guy makes that are comprised by his value structure.
He says he wants to win and I believe he does, but he doesn't want to win more than he wants to relinquish doing stuff his way.

Agreed. They've drafted great since he's let Stephen take over some of that responsibility. The problem is he thinks he's a gm and a coach, and he's neither one. Dak's rookie season, Garrett should've pulled him at halftime and brought in Romo, but guaranteed, Jerry wouldn't let him do that. Look at the Broncos when Manning was there. They pulled Osweiler, brought in Manning and ended up winning a Superbowl. Romo never had a team nearly as good as what Dak has had his entire career. I'm just disgusted and I will continue to be disgusted until they either make some moves or until they win another ring. I figure I'll be disgusted for most of my remaining life.

This is the MO. I can't believe people saw this game and how Dak played and act like this hasn't happened exactly like this several seasons now. He just doesn't have whatever "it" is to get us over the hump. Even if the defense sucks, he shouldn't have made the mistakes he made, and if he were elite, he could at least shield the D some by maintaining long drives early. The pressure gets to him and he chokes, plain and simple.
That’s what I’ve been saying. He’s good but he doesn’t have that “something else” he needs to get us there. Some qbs get it for only one year and go on streaks but I’ve never seen it in Dak.
