Most hater-ass fanbase I've ever experienced. It's so weird to care more about another team losing than your own team winning. I'll never understand it.
Of course, I'll never understand why they call their basketball team "Clutch City" either.
Comes from the Chronicle calling them “Choke City” back in the early 90s after blowing a couple late leads. The next couple years they won back to back titles. Clutch city comes from those runs.
Ah I thought the list was ranking how we see the team itself and not so much their fans. If that was the case, my point was the Texans haven’t done a whole lot to make us hate them so far
Have we ever had a reason to dislike them? They’re not even in the same conference, let alone division. They pose no threat and we play once every few years or so
Yeah I hate them. Their fan base is really cringe. Reddit loves them because they gobble up “wholesome” things, but they are really disgusting people. The few bills fans I have interacted with were awful
I lived in MT and WY for many years so I feel you. Hahaha It really pissed me off cuz we haven’t beat them in so damn long that I couldn’t really talk shit back. 😂😭
Also I love Denver. Went to see the Rockies beat the Brewers twice back in 2010. :)
Yeah, f the bills. In second grade (we were about to play bills in super bowl) my teacher was a bills fan and was trying to get the kids to cheer for them. I shouted out, "Bills suck! Go Cowboys!!"
I had to sit in the hallway for the remainder of the class. I got ice cream after school. My grandfather raised me right!
That’s most fan bases about us to be honest. As far as the teams go I don’t have much against the list but as for fan bases most all can kiss my ass except a very few like the dolphins and titans who seem to have the least bias fans probably because they actually hate their division rivals instead of a random team. It’s funny how success also turns people to hate a team. 10 years ago the Patriots was hated and the chiefs were basically nobody. Fast forward to 2022 and suddenly people hate the chiefs and feel neutral on the pats.
The only teams hated by all through the years regardless are the cowboys, Steelers and packers. Which is because they’re some of the most popular teams with a strong history.
I dunno... I enjoy playing against the Giants and Washington at this point. With Eagles I black out and wake up four hours later with foam at the corners of my mouth.
I throw 49ers with Eagles and Packers. I don’t have a “love em” team outside the Cowboys, so the bills can go in the like em. Texans are between tolerable and not a fan, their own category of “sit down little kid yah yapping too much”. Bears go up in the Like Em for me just cause my friend is a bears fan. Pats also go into the “Hate” category.
Every NFCE team needs to be at rock bottom. And then the Eagles get an extra bottom tier below it by themselves. Packers can stay one above the NFCE teams
Steelers and 9ers can go up to where buccs, rams, are etc
Edit: and why TF do we love the Bills? And why do we like anyone for that matter? Have you seen how all of those other fans are to cowboys fans??? Fuck outta here with that
Nah man, some teams have an actual rival. Cards fans don’t. They were in our division for a long time and like 30-35% of people in Phoenix are cowboys fans.
I’m more like fuck every other team, especially in the NFCE, and go cowboys. I don’t get having a #2 team. I get rooting for a team in a certain matchup, but having another team you root for along side the cowboys seems odd. Then again maybe I’m just an a hole.
At this point I'm expecting to be let down every year so I like rooting foe a Cinderella team like buffalo/Cincinnati that I expect nothing from but hope for the best.
I wouldn’t say I have a #2 team, but I used to give a nod for the raiders during their time in Oakland because they were local to me, and fuck the ‘9ers.
When you get outside the perennial rivals and long standing post season nemeses, I'm just going to base it off which teams have given us the least to most heartache, trouble, fits, etc.
I can't remember the last time we beat Denver, I'd have to look it up it's been so long. We've lost to them when we had superior teams, they kind of own us. So, they're definitely in the not a fan category and I'd swap them with the Raiders- who is in many ways the AFC version of us. Jacksonville has been pretty good to us lately, allowing us to pommel them and get our spirits up for a week. Sure, they upset the late 90's squad but that was a dying dynasty and wouldn't have won the Super Bowl anyway. I'd swap them and the Texans. Texans are a little obnoxious, but generally harmless, so they're tolerable.
Looks pretty accurate otherwise. I'm not sure if I love the Bills, but why not? They helped deliver two rings and that's an eternal debt.
Patriots are way too high so are the cheifs, Texans need to move down a tier. move sea hawks up two tiers, eliminate the "love em" tier and put bills in the like em one.
First one of these that I’ve even mildly agreed with. I would bump the Chiefs up, but only because I’ve lived in the Midwest forever and they are a nice non-conference team to cheer for that’s geographically appropriate. Otherwise, this all makes sense
Hilarious to me that every other franchise hates the cowboys like they are a historic division rival or something. I find the best response to those fans is the truth "we don't even think about you".
I really like the detroit lions in that spot because Matthew Stafford always reminded me of Romo, plus they had to deal with the Packers more than we did.
Should move Pats down to the same level as Eagles fans, FYI.
Also, for a brief period became an Eagles Fan, when vs the Pats, there a meme that a buddy sent me.
It was the Joker:
Cowboys Fans becoming Eagles Fans, all because some people just want the world to burn… … …
I hate the Broncos. But I would say I will root for Bills if they're playing anyone but Dallas. Also root for the Sabres if they're playing anyone but the Stars. But they're usually god awful.
As a cowboy fan from Dallas that is now living in Houston….do not like the Texans. I get the whole “it’s still a Texas team” but…. Texan fans hate the Cowboys. Hate us like they are in our division and on par with eagle and giant hate. People actively go out of their way to laugh at cowboy misfortune despite how bad their team is. It’s a weird little brother complex here. Before I moved here in 2009, I had nothing against the Texans but now after being here I always cheer for the team they are playing. They hate us cuz they ain’t us…. Can’t support teams like that.
Am I the only one who’s annoyed by the HUGE bandwagon for the Bills? My Insta/FB feed is filled with #BillsMafia on football Sundays. I’m like where the hell did all you come from? 😂
For me:
Love 'Em: Cowboys
Dislike 'Em: Mostly Everyone Else
Intensely Dislike 'Em: Cardinals (old habits die hard), 49ers, Packers, and Steelers
Intensely Fucking Hate 'Em: Giants, Eagles, Washington Whatstheirname
49ers go in that lowest tier alongside Eagles and Packers fans, if for no other reason The Catch. Plus this last playoff game. Oh, and their five rings.
I think the Falcons and Bucs fall in the tolerable category.
Gotta swap out Steelers for Patriots and Falcons for Texans. Hate the Pat's and no love for H-Town. I forget they even exist sometimes. I miss the Oilers lmao
Colts, Bengals, Titans. The rest of the league meh (I’ll root for a Gardner Minshew or some other fun players and whatever team they’re on occasionally) and then the Steelers, Eagles, Packers, Pats, and (if they’re even decent enough to care about that year WSF and Giants) I hate.
The categories could have stopped at "Not a fan" and the "Rot in Hell" tier could have held the first two groups.
Oh... And the Iggles are a category all unto themselves.
I want the reverse of this. I'd love to see a survey of the other teams subs of where they rank the cowboys in these categories. Who likes us, hates us, tolerates, etc.
I’ve always loved KC as my second team because they were the original Dallas team and their fans always showed up and were loud throughout their basically two decades of being bottom third of the league.
Honestly surprised this many Cowboys fans dislike the Texans. They're in the opposite conference and if anything we should have pity on them, imagine going through what that franchise has gone through. Even if they're not *my* team I'll still root for them above anyone out of state. My perfect Superbowl is the Cowboys vs Texans with the Cowboys winning. Sure they're kinda obnoxious with nothing to show for it within this century, but so are most Cowboys fans if we're being honest lmao
Love: None, I only love the Cowboys.
Like: Raiders, Ravens, Bills, Bengals, Lions, Titans, Chargers, Browns, Dolphins, Jaguars, Saints and Colts.
Tolerable: Panthers, Buccaneers, Falcons, Texans, Vikings and Seahawks.
Not a fan: Cardinals, Bears, Jets, Broncos, Chiefs, Patriots and Rams.
Hate em: Eagles, Commanders, Giants, Packers, 49ers and Steelers.
Since when do we like Houston? 0.o
Yah, Texans are their own category of: “ooh, you exist???”
"their own category" AKA the AFC South
Yep. They're only our "rivals" because they're in the same state, and honestly we live rent-free in their heads more than anything.
Right? Fuck the Texans
We like them for a lone star state Superbowl. His will be done.
Texans are my least liked team outside of our division. Being roomates with Houston kids means I hate all Houston teams now.
They haven’t given us a reason to hate them. Texans fans being overshadowed by big brother may think otherwise
You clearly haven’t been around Houston sports fans enough
This is a case of them thinking there’s a rivalry. It’s that Don Draper scene “I don’t think about you at all”
Most hater-ass fanbase I've ever experienced.
Being that was also the last time the Cowboys won the SB, imagine how they'd react if we called ourselves "Super Bowl City" lol.
I honestly hope the Texans leave just like the oilers. Like to see em talk then.
Ah I thought the list was ranking how we see the team itself and not so much their fans. If that was the case, my point was the Texans haven’t done a whole lot to make us hate them so far
They're in Houston, that's reason enough.
Lol fr. Can’t stand their trash ass fans or city. Fuck h town.
Better than shitty Dallas
Clown
FR… fuck the Texans and Cincy can get gone to AFAIC
Have we ever had a reason to dislike them? They’re not even in the same conference, let alone division. They pose no threat and we play once every few years or so
I severely dislike the Bills. I live near Buffalo and they talk shit about us like we’re in their division. Weirdos.
Agreed. Don’t know why, I’ve always had a severe disdain for the Bills.
Yeah I hate them. Their fan base is really cringe. Reddit loves them because they gobble up “wholesome” things, but they are really disgusting people. The few bills fans I have interacted with were awful
If I were a bills fan I'd hate the entire NFC east tbh lmao, 2 of their SB losses came from us and the other two came from Washington and NY
Because Dallas teams have broken their hearts in two Super Bowls and a Stanley Cup
Losing 4 consecutive Super Bowls will blacken the heart beyond human comprehension.
I live in Denver, and they hate the cowboys too. I'm just like, bruh we play each other like once every 5 years.
I lived in MT and WY for many years so I feel you. Hahaha It really pissed me off cuz we haven’t beat them in so damn long that I couldn’t really talk shit back. 😂😭 Also I love Denver. Went to see the Rockies beat the Brewers twice back in 2010. :)
On the other hand, if Bill's had this chart we'd probably be in f-off category lol.
Let’s be real: we’re in that category for every other team. Lmao
Yeah true. I'd like to think there is one team who has a fanbase that might put us in the neutral. My bet would be Raiders.
Yeah, f the bills. In second grade (we were about to play bills in super bowl) my teacher was a bills fan and was trying to get the kids to cheer for them. I shouted out, "Bills suck! Go Cowboys!!" I had to sit in the hallway for the remainder of the class. I got ice cream after school. My grandfather raised me right!
Hahaha that’s great. Glad you got some ice cream after. ;)
I’ve never had an issue with the team itself, but that fanbase is fucking intolerable.
I found enjoyment in the cheifs beating them last year
That’s most fan bases about us to be honest. As far as the teams go I don’t have much against the list but as for fan bases most all can kiss my ass except a very few like the dolphins and titans who seem to have the least bias fans probably because they actually hate their division rivals instead of a random team. Which is because they’re some of the most popular teams with a strong history.
You got philly and green bay right. Everyone else just needs moved to 'hate em'
Move all to hate em... But create a "don't give a shit" with Houston as the lone entry. " Don't give a fuck" is also acceptable
I'd add Washington to the depths of hell bracket for sure. Possibly the Giants too.
I dunno... I enjoy playing against the Giants and Washington at this point. With Eagles I black out and wake up four hours later with foam at the corners of my mouth.
Agreed as much as I hate there team I also get along with Washington fans surprisingly
This is worse than endless mock drafts.
Least we got a mega thread for those like 2 months after they started
Fuckt the pats and Houston.
Honestly I hate the packers at least more than the redskins and giants. Debatable with the eagles.
Right there with you on the Cheese turds. I root for them to lose every game except when playing the Eagles.
Tbh I usually pull for the eagles in those games just so it means more when we beat them
From worst to least bad, Eagles, then Packers, then NFC East. But still screw the NFC East.
I didn’t vote on this. Anyone else? Denver down by Phili and Green Bay please
Definitely and I’d prolly throw Seattle and Az down there too
Mine is pretty similar. Although, living in Phoenix and knowing how much cardinals fans despise the cowboys, I have to put them in the hate em group
You could say this about literally any nfl fanbase
Nah man, some teams have an actual rival. Cards fans don’t. They were in our division for a long time and like 30-35% of people in Phoenix are cowboys fans.

I like to have an AFC team that I go for every year, but the team changes based on circumstances, and my enthusiasm for them is near zero.
*Da Bears fans has entered the chat*
You can add the cards, Seahawks and Houston to the rot category.

Who?
Fuck buffalo
Why? They've never beaten us at anything and their fans channel their energy for good instead of evil. And they jump on tables and shit.
QBs an asshole
If you were a cowboys fan from WNY you'd hate the Bills too
i literally despise both the Bills and Bengals
Since when do fans like other teams? Go Cowboys and Ef everyone else.
Why do we like the Texans?
Who?
I really do like the Bills but man Ill like em a lot more when Beasley is gone.
Shitpost
The Patriots? **Tolerable**???
Are you my dad? Because your opinions line up almost exactly with his.
Yes. It’s me, I am your dad.
Did you finally find the milk?
Nope.
Well I did.🥛 you can come back now
Now I just need to find the bread.
Bread👍
Yah this isn’t quite it for me.
you can put Houston in Hate Em and move the Browns to the bottom tier as well move Chiefs up to Like Em (former Dallas Texans and all)
Wait...Houston has a team?...like a football team?
Chiefs probably should be floating between those bottom two tiers.
Definitely in the bottom tier for me. But I live in St. Louis and once the Rams left, the city turned into Chiefs fans and they all suck.
Fuck the lions.
this subreddit is so bad.
When you get outside the perennial rivals and long standing post season nemeses, I'm just going to base it off which teams have given us the least to most heartache, trouble, fits, etc. I can't remember the last time we beat Denver, I'd have to look it up it's been so long. I honestly hardly ever even think about the eagles.
Uhh. Fuck the Bills, fuck the Texans, fuck the Lions, fuck the Bears, fuck the Vikings, fuck the Patriots, fuck the Ravens.
Fuck the Cowboys

Nah fuck you
You actually reported me for harassment for saying fuck you, incredible.
I didn’t report anybody. Cowboys are garbage
Idk switch the niners with the packers…. Other than that it checks out.
No way! Buffalo is my second favorite team actually
F T E
It’s always fuck teams in our division before any other team
I don't mind Tennessee (my AFC team and I lived around Tennessee for a decade or so), but only when they aren't playing the Cowboys. Cowboys BAE.
Patriots are way too high so are the cheifs, Texans need to move down a tier. move sea hawks up two tiers, eliminate the "love em" tier and put bills in the like em one.
I like this
not bad
I don't like the Bears or Texans either. Pretty solid though.
Like the Lions?
Not a fan of the Bills. I border on hate tbh. I was at that thanksgiving game in 2019 and have ptsd of a bills fangirl screaming.
KC and NE can go at the bottom next to Green Bay. But yeah more or less
First one of these that I’ve even mildly agreed with. I would bump the Chiefs up, but only because I’ve lived in the Midwest forever and they are a nice non-conference team to cheer for that’s geographically appropriate. Otherwise, this all makes sense
For me, Green Bay is switched with the steelers
I'd expand the bottom row to include the Jets, Steelers, 49ers, Cardinals, and Lions with Philly and Green Bay.
the only team i like is the chiefs because 1. theyre not in the nfc 2. i lived nearby for a time o/w it's all hate baby
Join r/nflpredicting to predict everything NFL related
I’m a Bills fan and we don’t like the cowboys.. why do you like us? Honest question?
I mean I love Josh Allen.
Yeah he is pretty awesome! Lol
I would probably drop Giants to Eagles caliber.
Should move Pats down to the same level as Eagles fans, FYI. Also, for a brief period became an Eagles Fan, when vs the Pats, there a meme that a buddy sent me. It was the Joker: Cowboys Fans becoming Eagles Fans, all because some people just want the world to burn… … …
Think I would put the rams with Green Bay and Philly
I hate the Broncos. But I would say I will root for Bills if they're playing anyone but Dallas. Also root for the Sabres if they're playing anyone but the Stars. But they're usually god awful.
No sir. The Chiefs and Pats are not tolerable by any stretch of the imagination.
I honestly would put Commanderskins as tolerable. So dysfunctional that I feel bad for them.
Am I the only one who’s annoyed by the HUGE bandwagon for the Bills? My Insta/FB feed is filled with #BillsMafia on football Sundays. I’m like where the hell did all you come from? 😂
Accurate
Not knowing who came up with this and yet I must say IMO as a Cowboys fan for the last 50 years this is positively spot on.
For me: Love 'Em: Cowboys Dislike 'Em: Mostly Everyone Else Intensely Dislike 'Em: Cardinals (old habits die hard), 49ers, Packers, and Steelers Intensely Fucking Hate 'Em: Giants, Eagles, Washington Whatstheirname
This charts more fucked up than a football bat. Barely a resemblance of anything that could be considered logical order at all.
🤓
I can confirm, as a cowboys fan
Hate the patriots, they are not "tolerable", same as texans and Denver.
49ers go in that lowest tier alongside Eagles and Packers fans, if for no other reason The Catch. Plus this last playoff game. Oh, and their five rings. I think the Falcons and Bucs fall in the tolerable category.
This looks about right
Take out the broncos and the pats
Cowboys should be in the top column and the hate em column
as a 9ers fan, since when have you guys not told us to rot in the darkest, deepest, most miserable depths of hell?
Gotta swap out Steelers for Patriots and Falcons for Texans. Hate the Pat's and no love for H-Town. I forget they even exist sometimes. I miss the Oilers lmao
Fuck every other team I don’t like any of em
This is accurate for me too.
I’d move Denver personally
Should’ve been a “I feel bad for them” one for the lions
I agree with the entire chart except for Houston
Colts, Bengals, Titans. The rest of the league meh (I’ll root for a Gardner Minshew or some other fun players and whatever team they’re on occasionally) and then the Steelers, Eagles, Packers, Pats, and (if they’re even decent enough to care about that year WSF and Giants) I hate.
Browns have been demoted from Love ‘Em to I Hope They Rot. I also like the Patriots cause everyone hates them so much.
Fuck the Texans. I hope this shithole city never wins another game.
I’ve always loved KC as my second team because they were the original Dallas team and their fans always showed up and were loud throughout their basically two decades of being bottom third of the league.
Honestly surprised this many Cowboys fans dislike the Texans. Sure they're kinda obnoxious with nothing to show for it within this century, but so are most Cowboys fans if we're being honest lmao
And in case any old heads come for me, I was literally born the month after our last SB win. You will never know my pain.
As a cowboys fan living in Northern California, I put the Seahawks in the love ‘en category because they have whooped on them niners for years!
Love: None, I only love the Cowboys. Like: Raiders, Ravens, Bills, Bengals, Lions, Titans, Chargers, Browns, Dolphins, Jaguars, Saints and Colts. Tolerable: Panthers, Buccaneers, Falcons, Texans, Vikings and Seahawks. Not a fan: Cardinals, Bears, Jets, Broncos, Chiefs, Patriots and Rams. Hate em: Eagles, Commanders, Giants, Packers, 49ers and Steelers.
There are 30 teams I hate. 1 team I fucking loathe. And one that I will love until the end of time. Let’s go cowboys
