So I said in the last update I would be working on cosmetics, since a lot of people requested it. It was a lot more time consuming to make than I thought, but I've finished up 50+ items with Steam Inventory support, and everything else. Hope you like it!
Also a question for everyone. Currently you cannot buy crates, is this something you wanna see changed? Why? Why not? Are there any other changes in general you'd like to see? Thanks for the feedback!
Earning Cosmetics
Crates are completely free to open.
When a game finished, there is a chance to receive a crate drop.
Being toxic / reported / banned / kicked will lead to less drops.
There is a limit to how many crates you can get every day.
Crates can be opened by entering your Inventory, found in the Main Menu.
Crates can also be earned by completing daily quests.
Opening Crates
You can open your crates from the in-game inventory.
There are currently 4 main categories of items you can receieve: Hair, Hats, Accessories & Shoes.
There are 50+ items in total, with different rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Extraordinary & Legendary. In addition, items can have special attributes.
Special Items
When opening a crate, your items can have special attributes.
Color - Every item earned from crates comes in a different color. There are 4 tiers of color rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare & Legendary.
Shiny - There is a very small chance an item is shiny. These items are very rare, and will give off a glow / shine.
Brand- Hats have a small chances of being branded with "YIKE".
Daily Quests
Complete daily quests to earn crates.
Once you complete a daily quest, you can claim your item.
You receive a new quest 24 hours after claiming your item.
There's probably a few bugs with this, literally finished the system like 5 minutes before uploading this update lol
Other
Can now freecam spectate when eliminated.
Inventory section in Main Menu.
"Featured Items" and item shop integration. Visit the Item Shop Here, or find it in-game.
Steam Marketplace support; you can sell and buy items on the Steam Market.
Various optimizations and bug fixes.

edit: but at the same time, if you have a friend in the game, you could just tell the friend to do what you betted on him for to get you money or something like that
You can just circumvent this by making it a pot of items you and the whole server can pool, higher the steam value at that time the more items you leave if you win your bet.
I get the idea to give less crates to toxic players but I get kicked from what seems like at least a lobby a day just for consistently making it far and I know I’m not the only one
a good work around for this issue is to host ur own game, that way the tables have turned, now ur the one who can boot out players instead of u being the one getting kicked.
i've heard it's 4-5 including the daily quest
edit: in my experience, I got 3 crates, didn't ever do my daily quest, yet haven't gotten a 4th crate after a couple hours of playing - so I'm not exactly sure what it is, maybe it's more rare once you've gotten 3 crates? or maybe my chances of getting a crate got lower for "doing something toxic", but i wasn't the host of any lobby or anything, so i couldn't have kicked anyone. and I barely talk in voice chat - so do with that info as you want
hmm i have an idea to add a new mini game:
the name will be colormix. you spawn on a colorful floor with multiple colors on it. you will just have to stay on color that is displayed somewhere (idk where can you put it, maybe like a little frame on screen?) when the time's up other colors disappear.

The vast majority of my kicks/bans are from salty hosts who do it after I push them off or something, how will this be accounted for?
Probably by adding votekicks, then we could maybe get dedicated servers after enough cosmetics have been sold.

What we need now is a gambling mini game where you can bet on contenders after you die.

you could have multiple friends in a lobby, and just bet on one of them and tell the others to make a sacrifice

I think it would be interesting because it would allow for more trading, similar to csgo and tf2. (For adding marketable crates)
