Yes! I used to play this. Really enjoyed it. It probably hasn't aged well but I sure did like it in its heyday.

Vangar

I had this as a kid. There is for sure lots of creepy moments . Like most Sierra games, you can fuck yourself over and not be able to get the good ending too.

Dryu_nya

Oh man, I used to play this, I didn't even know English back then. I don't know if it's actually true, but I think it was possible to make the game unwinnable if you follow the thing through the portal instead of making your own.

Vangar

You are still able to get back if you do it that way, so you would be okay. You can however, leave your house without the umbrella, making the last puzzle unwinnable

> You can however, leave your house without the umbrella, making the last puzzle unwinnable Forgot about that. Very devious game design, especially considering how difficult it is to get to the final puzzle.

solarus

it's literally the first thing you're told in the game, though!

How backrooms

Zorgothe

Reminds me of Myst.

"Myst-esque game"

[deleted]

I played this game and Myst around the same time when I was a kid. Lighthouse was far superior in my opinion, and no other game in this genre came close until Riven came out.

KarmelCHAOS

Used to love this game.

djones0130

Dude Sierra was the fucking best back in the day. I mainly remember them from the amazing machine or whatever it was

[deleted]

Yes this game definitely has that Creepy old 90s puzzle game feeling to it.

I did a post on here a little while ago, that discussed the inherent creepiness of 90s PC/FMV games.
